Friday night. Heero's View. "I need a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza, now!" Sally shouts at Dorothy. "I made that!" She shouts back. 'It's the middle of a Friday night at Pizza Hut. It's where they try to put what seems like eighteen million employees in our little store. This store was never meant for this much business.' I look at the clock. 'Sigh. It's only six. I've been here since four, I'm supposed to leave at nine. Maybe Sally will let me leave early. Nah, I'm not going to ask now, she looks a little peeved. So I'm stuck here folding boxes with Catherine until I can find something better to do. Catherine's a cute girl. But way too young and innocent for me.' I think to myself 'I'm so glad Duo's got a free minute to flirt with the new server. Man, is she cute. I ought to go stake my claim, before Duo gets any bright ideas of cheating on Hilde.' "Duo, isn't there something you could be doing?" "Naw, man. My tables are taken care of." I look around the darken interior of the restaurant. The table on the far side of the room is impatiently waiting for their pizza. Probably the pepperoni and mushroom one that someone forgot to make. "Duo, go check on your order for the table in the back." "You're not my boss, " He starts "Why do you always treat me like this, What do you think I am, A woman?" "Well, if you cut your hair and stopped acting like one, maybe I wouldn't treat you like one." I say starting to get pissed. "Now, go check your table." 'Am I really that mean to him?' I ask myself 'Have I always done that?' "Why are you being so mean to him?" Relena, the new server asks me. "I'm not being mean to him, he needs to do his work."I told her. I watch him walk off to his table in the back. I watch him walk off, staring at his tight ass. 'Wait! Did that thought just go through my head? I am not gay, i am not gay, I am not gay...Ack! He smiled at me!' "Heero! Are you working of what? Get back here and help me!" "I think you better stop gawking and go see what Sally wants." Relena says. "Yea, i better go do that." I walk back to the cut and pack table where Sally was busily cutting pizzas. "Yes?" I ask. She hands me a bunch of boxes. "What is this?" I ask her. "A delivery." "I meant, where is it going?" "Out the door, look Heero, I don't have time for this, so instead of flirting with Relena, please go bag this and watch dispatch for me." 'Man, Sally has an attitude today. At least she didn't catch me eyeing Duo. I still can't believe I was doing that.' I sigh. "Duo! Your pizza's up!" Sally called across the dinning room. 'I need a smoke. Lady Une, our boss, made the rule; no one is allowed to smoke until two hours into our shift. And sincve i've been here since four, and it's 6:15, it's time to ask.' "Sally?" I ask. "What now? Didn't I ask you to do something?" "I did that, can I go smoke now?" "Yea, be back. Duo!" She yells again. I watch Duo walk slowly from the front of the store to where sally and I were standing. He blows a kiss to Relena on his way. Dorothy catches the action. Dorothy is hilde's sister. They protect each other from dumb guys like Duo. "Sally, I'm going to kill Duo." "Dorothy, not right now. I need my server, Please kill him later. Heero, I thought you were smoking?" Sally tries to keep control of this store. 'She's not bad for an assistant manager. I think she's a bit dumb. I mean she came in on her vacation to help us. It was much appreciated at the time, but it was still dumb.' "Heero?" "Huh?" I look at her. "Either get out of my way and smoke your cigarette, or help me." "I'll go look for broken light bulbs." "Good." She shakes her head. I start to back up to leave, but I bump into something. My hand grasps said object hoping it's not the oven or a hot pan. I grasp something soft and warm, but nowhere near the heat of the oven. "Ah hem." Duo's voice comes from behind me. The only thought that runs through my head is: 'Shit.' I turn to see his face. He smiles and tells me "I need my pizza." He tells me. I run out the door, hiding the red blush the was creeping up my face. I bump into Noin on the way there. 'Man, do I need this.' I sit down on the cold concrete, take out my cigs and shake the last one out. 'Well if Duo is smaller than me, then what did i grab? Oh, shit. I grabbed his junk.
