Sunday 23 June 2002
On arrival we set up the van and Odette caught up with the washing. Cleaned out the car a bit and refuelled, plus bought some bread and coffee. We are just stopping overnight and nice to have a shower. Dingo Fence The dingo or dog fence, is the world's longest fence. It was originally constructed by the Queensland Government to stop the invasion of rabbits from the south. The fence is now maintained to exclude wild dogs from sheep grazing areas. The fence is approximately 6,400 km long. |
