I was born and raised in the Minneapolis, MN area and currently reside in Orlando, FL. My love of architecture, animals, and pure fantasy creates the colorful foundations for my Couture, Textile Sculptures, Gas Masks, Handbags and Paintings. Beginning with a single color that then evolves into the primary subject I build my pieces through layers of colorful materials expanding the story with each layer. My art is a synthesis of my personal feelings and memories. It's the fantasy born into my mind as a child that I've held tight for comfort as an adult. It's memories and dreams boldly told through color and lines. I strive to evoke a feeling of serenity and simplicity from my fantasy world secretly filled with total chaos. I am an artist engaged in the creation of memories.
