The purpose of this website is to make gaming easier when we need help! Access to walkthroughs ensure that gamers can get that last secret achievement, that hidden coin, or figure out how to synthesize that special armor. GameNavi was made by a gamer for gamers. You only have twenty minute to play? No problem this site was made so that gamers would be able to save their favorite walkthroughs between gaming sessions for easy access next time they boot up.
To meet this objective, I kept the design of the pages simple and easy to navigate, the color scheme was chosen to help ease eye strain because glancing from screen to screen will give anyone a headache after a while. Constant access to shortcuts to allow smooth navigation between pages was a priority.Less words, more pictures! I chose to design GameNavi with as few words as I could possibly manage because you'll be doing plenty of reading in the actual walthroughs no need to write a whole story about a video when embedding it will tell the same story in fewer words.
I would like to give this website an ‘edgier’ feel and make it more modern by adding transparent tables. Making the containers semitransparent and the background an hi-resolution image behind it that peek through ever so slightly. I would’ve also like to get the search bar functioning I spent weeks on that thing trying to figure out how to get it work can only get it to look pretty on the page. For future updates to the website I would love to experiment with the page layouts in CSS, a banner that is animated and loops, below the banner the displayed ‘top games’ would be a single row that the user can scroll through.
