Chapter Three - The Girl in the Mirror
�Hoeee�.� Sakura whispered as she rubbed her eyes. She was sleeping beside Tomoyo, and her heart didn�t hurt anymore. She grasped it, �Arigatou, Tomoyo-chan, you're a true friend...� she patted Tomoyo's head and put the blankets over her shoulder. Sakura climbed out of the bed and put on her slippers. She quietly sneaked out of Tomoyo's room and went to the bathroom.
Sakura sighed and turned on the tap, cupped her hands, and filled it with water. Then wet her face, after using a towel to wipe her face dry. She looked at herself straight in the mirror, and gasped at the sight she saw. A girl with waist length hair, the one from her dream. She had dark black eyes that pierced through Sakura's heart when the girl looked at her straight in the eye. Sakura shut her eyes tight, and then opened them again. The girl was still there, staring at her.
"Wh-who are you?" she stammered, trying to sound brave. The girl didn't answer, and kept staring at her. "Who are you?" Sakura asked again, trying to sound strong. The girl didn't answer again, instead, her eyes turned blood red, and she continued to stare at Sakura. Sakura felt like breaking the mirror to stop the girl from staring at her.
But then she felt a huge pain in her heart, and cried out. She bammed her fist on the sink while she grasped her heart with her other hand. Then she heard a horrible rasp whisper coming from in front of her, "Now you know how it feels...now you know...Sakura-chan." Sakura raised her head at the sound of her name, sweat drenching her body. The girl was talking to her, "Why do you have to torture me...why?"
Sakura shook her head and tried to push her body up, "I don't...u-unders-s-stand what you're sa-ying..."
"Don't you DARE talk to me like that!" the girl snapped. Sakura went silent. "Why are you torturing me? Why do you get the perfect life? I have no friends, and I'm all alone. I know you're the Cards Mistress Sakura-chan, but I'm more powerful." The girl smirked, "And I can kill you..." she said raising her finger and pointing at her heart.
"AHHH!! STOP!!! STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Sakura yelled, grasping her heart harder than ever. The girl stopped and put her finger down, a smile spread on her face.
"Now you know...what it feels like." and then the girl disappeared from the mirror.
Sakura heard footsteps running down the hall, Tomoyo had heard her scream in the bathroom and she ran as fast as she could to Sakura. "What's wrong? SAKURA-CHAN! What's wrong?!?" she gasped and saw Sakura grasping her heart, sweating more than ever. Her beautiful emerald, gentle eyes had turned blood red. ~Something happened to Sakura-chan here...~ Tomoyo fell on her knees and cried.
Sonomi ran to the bathroom as she had also heard Sakura scream. "What happened? I heard Kinomoto-san scream in the bathroom and I came here as fast as I could. What hap-" When she looked inside, Sakura fell on her knees weekly, and closed her eyes.
Tomoyo gasped, "SAKURA-CHAN!!!!!!!!! WAKE UP! WAKE UP! Onegai..." Tomoyo cried as she shook Sakura. "Onegai, wake up..." she sobbed. ~Not again...not again...onegai, don't let this happen to Sakura-chan, she's my best friend, and I don't want to loose her...~
Tomoyo and Sonomi carried Sakura to the couch and let her rest again. Sonomi called the doctor over to check Sakura, this was the second time she had fainted. By the time he arrived, he checked her heartbeat, it was fine, her pulse, good, her breathing, normal, everything was normal. But the doctor couldn't find out what was wrong with her.
"Hmm..I don't see anything wrong with Ms. Kinomoto, everything seems fine. There's nothing wrong with her." he said shaking his head.
Sonomi sighed of relief, "Arigatou," Then helped the doctor find his way to the door. When he left, Sakura woke up , feeling a little dizzy.
"Where am I?" she whispered and sat up.
Tomoyo shushed her, "It's okay Sakura-chan, you're going to be fine.� She said, trying to hold her tears back. �I called Touya, he said he�s going to come over to pick you up. He�ll be here soon. Everybody�s worried about you�� Sakura nodded.
�Arigatou Tomoyo-chan, it�s so nice of you�t-to take care of me.� She forced a smile as Tomoyo closed her eyes and smiled back.
~I hope Meiling doesn�t tell Li, he�d be scared to death if he found out about this~ thought Tomoyo, sighing.
Author's Notes: Okae guys, sorry this chapter is so short. I'm just sooo tired and I need rest.
"SHE'S LYING!!! SHE'S BEEN DAYDREAMING ABOUT SYAORAN-KUN! WAIT 'TIL I TELL SAKURA^^"
"MOUKU! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS POPPING OUT OF THE CLOSET WHEN I'M TALKING TO THEM?!?!?" *throws pillow at him*
"MUAHAHAHAHA =D"
"Did I tell you that I told everyone you had a crush on Kero-chan?"
"I'M NOT GAY!!!" *blush*
"No! I'm not saying you're gay! You're just like Touya and Yukito-san^^ (woohoo!)"
