Chapter Two - The Pain in My Heart
The next morning, Sakura called Tomoyo in the morning and told her about the dream.
�That�s weird, Sakura-chan, I was hoping everything would be back to normal now! After capturing that void card�� Tomoyo sighed, �Do you want to come over, Sakura-chan?�
Sakura checked her watch, �Sure, I�ll be over at your house in 10 minutes or so, see you there!�
�Okay, see you in 10 minutes.�
Sakura heard the tone, and hung up. She put her hand on her heart, and grasped her shirt tightly, had a black orb really went inside her body? Even worse, into her heart�
Sakura sighed and shook her head, ~it was only a dream�~ she thought, ~but it felt so real�~
She took a look at the mark on her arm again, maybe it�s just my hand, and maybe I grabbed it.
�SAKURA!�
�Coming Oniisan!� she sighed as she grabbed her bag.
Kero flew out of the cupboard next to Sakura, "Where are you going?"
"I'm going over to Tomoyo-chan's."
Kero flew out of the way as she ran to her desk and put a book in her bag. "Will you tell her to make me a strawberry short cake and bring it back?" he said, flying around in circles. Sakura nodded.
"YAY!!!!!!" he said pumping his fist into the air. He turned and flew down to the video games.
Putting on her pink slippers, Sakura ran down the stairs and into the kitchen.
�Ohayou, Sakura-chan.� said Fujitaka from the sink. �Are you going over to Daidouji-san�s today?�
Sakura nods, �Hai,� and sat on the chair across from Touya.
Touya murmured something. Sakura looked up confused, �Did you say something Touya?�
�I fed I�m koing ver to Vukito-san�s� Touya said, his mouth full of pancakes.
�What?� Sakura asked.
Touya gulped down his food and glared at his sister. He took in a deep breath and said, �I�said�I�m�going�over�to�Yukito-san�s!�
�Oh.� Sakura nodded. She picked up her fork and started eating.
Fujitaka turned off the water and sat down between his children. �Sakura-chan,�
Sakura looked up, �Hoeee?� she whispered.
�I heard you screaming last night, what happened?�
Sakura blushed, �Nothing, I just had a small nightmare Otousan.� She looked down, �Gomen ne if I woke you up.�
Fujitaka put his hand on her shoulder, �That�s okay, I wasn�t really sleeping.� He gave his daughter a warm smile, and she felt better.
Touya pushed out his chair and grabbed his backpack, �Itte mairimasu,� he made his way to the front door, �I�ll be back at around 2:30, I�ll be eating lunch there. Bye.� He closed the front door behind him.
�AUGH!� Sakura�s father put his hand on his head, he squeezed his eyes shut.
�Otousan!� Sakura cried as she ran beside him, �What�s wrong?�
He shook his head, and got up, his hand still on his forehead, �Nothing, Sakura-chan. Just a head ache,� Fujitaka made his way upstairs, �I just need some rest.� Sakura nodded and helped her father up to his room.
Fujitaka looked up at his daughter, "Arigatou, Sakura-chan, I really appreciate this." Sakura nodded.
"I think I'll stay here, I don't think I should go to Tomoyo-chan's."
"No, I appreciate you caring for me, but I don't want to spoil your fun, just go."
"Demo-"
"Just go, I'll be fine. I only need rest."
Sakura sighed, "Okay, Otousan. But I'll be back early." She got up from the bed and headed towards the door, she turned back once more and looked at her father. "Sleep tight," she whispered, and closed the door.
Sakura grabbed her skates and sat at the front door step. Tears fell down her face and she used her free hand to wipe them away. ~I have to be strong~. She told herself, ~Otousan will be okay~. She opened the front door and left the house. As she skated to her best friend's house, she grasped her heart again.
~Is this the doing of the black orb?~ About 7 minutes later, Sakura was right in front of Tomoyo's door when she suddenly fell on her knees. A pain stabbed her in the heart, sweat ran down her forehead. Her auburn hair fell in front of her face. "My heart!!!" she cried out. Another stab came and penetrated her heart. Her eyes widened. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Tomoyo heard a familiar voice, screaming outside her front door. "SAKURA-CHAN!!" she cried and ran towards the front door. She swung it open and found Sakura crouched down, one hand on the floor, supporting her body, and the other grasping her chest. Tomoyo ran out and got down to her best friend. "Sakura-chan! What *sob* happened?" she asked, panicking and crying.
Sakura looked up from her auburn hair, her face was covered in sweat, she gasped for air. "T-t-tomoyo-chan..." her eyes widened and a huge pain hit her heart. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! My heart......" then fainted in Tomoyo's arms. Tears formed in Tomoyo's eyes as she squeezed them, and they rolled down her cheeks.
"SAKURAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" she screamed. Her guards came out when they heard Tomoyo. When they went out, they saw Tomoyo crying and holding a fainted girl in her arms. "WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE?!? HELP ME!!!" she yelled at her guards. They reacted immediately and ran towards her.
"What happened?" one of them asked Tomoyo.
Tomoyo shook her head, "I don't know," she sobbed, "just get her inside."
The guards nodded and picked up the unconscious Sakura into Tomoyo�s house, where they lay her on the couch. They took off her helmet while another guard went to wet a towel and put it on Sakura�s forehead. They put a blanket over Sakura and let her rest for a while. Tomoyo stayed beside Sakura and put her hands on top of Sakura�s.
Finally after 15 minutes, Sakura opened her eyes, and found herself in a room. The last thing she remembered was her heart hurting, the next thing was, her lying on a couch in Tomoyo�s living room next to her. Sakura sat up immediately and felt her heart hurt. �OWW!!!� she cried. Tomoyo put both hands on Sakura�s shoulders and put her back down on the couch.
�Sakura-chan,� she said in a whisper, �you need to rest. I don�t want you to get hurt anymore.� Sakura looked at Tomoyo�s eyes, they were all red. She knew Tomoyo had been crying. Tears rolled down her cheeks.
�Please don�t cry, Tomoyo-chan.� Sakura whispered back as tears rolled down her cheeks, �If you want me to rest, I�ll rest.� Tomoyo nodded, and wiped her tears.
�I was so scared Sakura-chan�I h-heard you screaming outside, and I panicked.� More tears formed in her eyes, �I ran out as fast as I could, and I saw you on your knees, holding your heart. And you were screaming, then�then you fainted, and I was so scared, I don�t want you to get hurt Sakura! You�re my best friend, and I don�t want to lose you.� Tomoyo threw herself around her best friend. Sakura patted her back, and cried.
�It�s okay now Tomoyo-chan. I�ll be okay.� Sakura said in a comforting voice. Tomoyo let go of her best friend and looked at her as Sakura closed her eyes to rest more.
When she felt better, she woke up again, and at that time, it was 12:30. She looked around for Tomoyo and saw her in the kitchen on the phone. Sakura pretended to be asleep as Tomoyo turned and faced Sakura. �Hai, and then she just�fainted after. Hai, she�s resting right now. Are you going to tell Li-kun?� she paused. Sakura blushed when she heard Syaoran�s name. She missed him so much, and it has only been 1 week.
�Hai,� Tomoyo said, nodding, �she told me�about this dream she had. About seeing a figure grabbing her arm. Sakura-chan said�about her having waist length black hair, and very skinny. Oh, okay, bye Meiling-chan.� Then she hung up and turned to Sakura. When she arrived next to Sakura, she pretended to just wake up.
�T-tomoyo?� she said sitting up and rubbing her eyes. �I think I feel a little right better now, did you tell Otousan�?�
Tomoyo nodded, �I called him while you were asleep, but he wasn�t there. So I left him a message and said once you feel better, I�ll drop you off at your house. So then after I called Tsukishiro-san�s and Touya was there, so I told him. But he told me to let you sleep over until you�re fully better, and he said he�ll tell your dad.� She smiled at Sakura, and continued, �My mom and I went to pick up your stuff from Tsukishiro-san�s, Touya went home to pick up your stuff and went back to his place. He was really worried about you and made me promise that I would take care of you.�
Sakura smiled, this was the best thing Tomoyo had ever done for her, she was really the greatest friend anyone could ever have. �Arigatou, Tomoyo-chan.� She whispered as she hugged her best friend.
Author's Notes: Okee, I fink this chapter was a bit lame, but Sakura's heart is hurting, and what happened in that dream?
"I KNO!!" *Mouku comes out of the closet*
