�She hates you,� MyKenna replied.
�I�m being serious,� Nickolas said.
�So am I,� MyKenna said and Nickolas sighed. �But I did give her the letter and ring.�
�What�d she do?� Nickolas asked. �What�d she say? Does she want us to get together and talk? Does she still love me?�
�One question at a time, Nick,� Aaron said.
�What�d she do?� Nickolas asked.
�Cried,� MyKenna replied.
�Good tears? Bad tears?�
�Tears of love.� He nodded.
�What�d she say?�
�She hates you. She�s afraid to talk to you, because things are different now since you cheated. She suggested that I get the truth out of you so I can tell her.�
�No! I want to tell her myself.�
�That�s what I told her.�
�And?�
�And she said she�ll think about talking to you.�
�I guess that�s a start.�
�It is. I told her I wasn�t going to be your guys� go between and I�m not. You have to talk to her. I suggested locking you two in a room together and she wasn�t against it.�
�I suggested the same thing,� Aaron stated.
�And I think it�s a great idea,� Nickolas said. �So go for it.�
�No,� MyKenna said. �We�ll just wait and see how plan A goes first. If plan A don�t work then we�ll go to plan B.�
�And what�s plan B?� Aaron asked.
�I don�t know yet,� MyKenna replied.
�Lock us in a room,� Nickolas said, as a phone rang.
�That�s mine,� Aaron said. �Excuse me.� MyKenna looked at Aaron a second then led Nickolas to the other side of the room.
�What?� Nickolas asked.
�I�ve decided to tell Aaron the truth tonight,� MyKenna said and Nickolas just looked at her. �I know it�s not what you want, but I can�t continue lying to him anymore.�
�You tell Aaron he�ll tell DJ.�
�I know that and that�s why you have to tell her before he does.�
�And it�s going to ruin both are relationships.�
�That�s a chance I�m willing to take. True love is about taking chances and I love Aaron. If you love DJ then you�ll take that chance also.�
�I don�t know.�
�Nick, she loves you and just wants the truth. She doesn�t want anymore secrets between you two.�
�And neither do I. But if she learned the truth about what happened between us she�ll be devastated and we�ll never get back together.�
�You have to have faith and hope Nick.� He sighed.
�Sorry about that,� Aaron apologized.
�No problem,� Nickolas said. �Maybe I should just go to her.�
�You already tried that,� Aaron stated. �She wouldn�t listen.�
�So I�m just supposed to wait for her?� Nickolas said. �I�ve tried that the past three months and got nowhere.�
�You can�t rush her, Nick,� MyKenna said. �She wants to get back with you and when she�s ready she�ll let you know. If you rush her you�ll probably just push her away more.�
�I don�t want to do that,� Nickolas said. �I just want to talk to her and explain my reasons. If I can get that chance then I�ll be satisfied. And if she doesn�t want to rekindle our love after that then I�ll understand that we�re not meant to be. But I don�t believe that we�re not meant to be.�
�You�re meant to be,� MyKenna said.
�Just wait for her call or wait for her to come to you,� Aaron said. �It�s the most you can do right now.�
�I�ll wait, but I don�t want to wait another three months,� Nickolas stated.
�I�m sure you won�t have to,� MyKenna said.
�I can�t believe how bad I screwed up,� Nickolas said. �I had a great thing with DJ and I ruined it in one day.�
�She said you�ve been with this Tiffany girl for a while,� MyKenna stated and Nickolas just looked at her. �Ok, that�s not the point. The point is that you love DJ and she loves you and you have to work on getting back together with her.�
�Have I not been saying that the past three months?� Nickolas asked and MyKenna and Aaron just looked at him. �What?�
�I never understood a single word you�ve been saying since DJ left you,� Aaron said. �I don�t know what the hell language you were speaking, but it wasn�t English.�
�He�s right, Nick,� MyKenna agreed. �No one understood you, but if that�s what you were saying then I�ll believe you.� Nickolas rolled his eyes and sighed.
�I just want to go to her,� Nickolas said. �I just want us to be alone so we can talk.�
�And you�ll get your chance,� MyKenna said. �Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day you will.�
�If only I kept my distance from that girl,� Nickolas said. �Then DJ and I wouldn�t be in this position right now. I didn�t though and look what happened. Like the idiot I am I went and screwed everything up and hurt the one woman I ever truly loved.�
�She�ll take ya back,� MyKenna said. �I know she will. You�re the best thing in her life and she�s not going to just forget that and let some slut take you away from her forever.�
�I don�t want anyone, but DJ,� Nickolas said.
�So tell her that,� Aaron said. �I�m sure she knows that deep down, but she�s not going to feel any better if you don�t tell her.�
�I told her that already,� Nickolas said.
�Not since she found you with Tiffany,� MyKenna said and Nickolas looked at her and she grinned. �She thinks you never wanted her and that hurts her, because she gave her heart and soul to you.�
�I didn�t mean to hurt her,� Nickolas said. �It just happened.�
�And you can make it better,� Aaron said. �When she wants to talk you tell her the whole truth and leave nothing out.� Nickolas sighed and paced the room. �Well I have to get going. I have a couple things to get done by morning.�
�I�ll come with you,� MyKenna said.
�I�ll see you guys later then,� Nickolas stated.
�Are you going to be ok?� MyKenna asked concerned.
�I�ll be fine,� Nickolas replied. �You two go have fun.�
�We�ll see ya,� Aaron said and he and MyKenna walked out.
�Yeah,� Nickolas said to no one in particular. He walked around the room a few minutes thinking and then got out the phone directory. He paged through it awhile then picked up the phone and dialed. He waited and then said, �Hello, I�d like to order two dozen red roses.�
