�Hey, Nick,� MyKenna said walking down the stairs and looking at Nickolas, as he sat in front of the television and played video games. Nickolas was waiting for Dakota to return home from Seattle. MyKenna had just moved into Dakota and Nickolas� and she was waiting for Aaron to get back from Los Angeles.
�What do you want?� Nickolas asked not taking his eyes off the game.
�Do you mind getting these heavy boxes for me?�
�I�m busy.� She grinned and leaned on the back of the sofa next to him.
�I highly doubt playing video games is considered busy.�
�Well it is.�
�Do you even know what you�re doing?�
�Why?�
�God only knows how much liquor you downed since you got off the phone.�
�I...I�m not sure.� He paused the game and looked at her. �Will you get me another one?�
�I think you had enough.�
�Please? You�re beautiful MyKenna Kensie Jackson.� He smiled and kissed her cheek. �But of course Dakota is more beautifuler.�
�Beautifuler?� He nodded. �You are drunk.� She shook her head and stood up. �I�ll be right back with your beer or whatever�s left.�
�Grab one for yourself.�
�Yeah, yeah.� She walked back into the kitchen and then heard �When I Look Into Your Eyes� come from the parlor. MyKenna laughed and opened the refrigerator. She grabbed a couple of wine coolers and left the kitchen. She walked back into the parlor. She saw Nickolas lying on the sofa and walked over to him. She sat on the stand and he looked at her. �Here ya go.� She opened a bottle and gave it to him. She watched him take a long drink and then opened one for herself.
�I miss DJ.�
�Of course you do.�
�Do you think she misses me?�
�More than anything.�
�Why do you think she left me? What do you think it is I did to make her leave?�
�Nickolas, DJ is in Seattle shooting a movie.�
�Oh, that�s right.� He took another drink.
�Maybe you should go to bed.�
�I�m perfectly fine.� He smiled and sat up. �Do you want to see something nice?�
�Sure.� He took her hand and pulled her onto the sofa next to him. He reached in his pocket and took out a little box.
�You can�t say anything though, because it�s a surprise.� He put his finger to his lips. �Shh!� MyKenna did the same thing.
�Shh!� He nodded and put his arm around her then handed her the box. She took it and looked at him.
�Open it.� She sighed and did as he requested. She looked at Nickolas then back at the ring. �What do you think?�
�It�s beautiful, Nick.�
�Do you think Shorty will like it?�
�She�ll love it.� He smiled.
�Its 24kt gold and a 5kt diamond.�
�Wow! I�m sure it cost a fortune.�
�I think it was close to about 2 million.� She looked at him surprised. �It�s a rare diamond and I don�t want anything but the best for Dakota. She�s the love of my life and I couldn�t be happier.�
�You seem happy.�
�I am and I hope she is also.�
�It�s a gorgeous ring.� She handed it to him and he looked at it. �She�s going to fall in love with you all over again.�
�That�s the plan. I was going to ask her on Valentine�s, but I didn�t have a ring. I didn�t want to propose without a ring, ya know. I wanted to do it the right way with the ring and everything.� MyKenna nodded. �With the ring she�ll know I�m serious.�
�Yeah; she�s lucky to have you.�
�And I�m lucky to have her although I don�t deserve her.�
�Sure you do. DJ�s the only one that loves you for you and not because of your celebrity.�
�And I love her.� He put the ring away. �And I love you too.� He kissed her cheek then handed her another wine cooler and a video game controller. �Play?�
�I guess so.� She took both the controller and wine cooler. �What are we playing?�
�Tony Hawk.� She nodded and they started playing.
They sat there for the next few hours playing video games and getting drunker. MyKenna beat Nickolas at every game they played and loved every second of it. Afterwards they just sat on the sofa and continued drinking and talked.
�Ha Ha I beat you in every game.�
�And you suck.�
�Whatever. You�re just pissed, because I beat your ass.�
�Speaking of which; I have to piss.� He got up just to fall on the floor. MyKenna started laughing and so did Nickolas. �Maybe you should just give me a bottle, because I don�t think I�m going to make it to the bathroom.�
�You are not relieving yourself in front of me.� She got up and helped him up off the floor. �C�mon.� She led him to the bathroom and pushed him in. �Don�t hurry.� She closed the door and walked back to the parlor. She sat back down and picked up another wine cooler. She sat there a few minutes and then heard Nickolas run into something. She looked, as Nickolas stood up.
�Everything is under control.� She laughed, as he staggered to the stairs.
�Where are you going?�
�To shower. Do you want to join?�
�Maybe in another lifetime.�
�So you�re taking a rain check?�
�Something like that.�
�Gotcha.� He went to go up the stairs, but tripped and MyKenna started laughing again. �I�m not going to make it.�
�No you�re not. Need some help?�
�Please.� She got up and walked over to him.
�I think you need to sleep instead of shower, Nicky.� He looked at her. �What?�
�Only Shorty calls me �Nicky�.�
�Sorry.� She helped him upstairs and to his bedroom. �Time for sleepy.� She led him over to the bed and laid him down. �You just go to sleep and have sweet dreams.�
�Ugh!� He looked at her, but saw Dakota instead. �You�re so beautiful and look sweet enough to eat.� He took her face in his hands.

�Shh!� He smiled and kissed her. MyKenna pulled away and looked at him. �What?�
�Nothing.�
�Good.� He kissed her again and this time she kissed him in return.
