�I know how ya feel,� Aaron said. �I miss Kenna and that�s why I�m here.� He smiled and they walked into the parlor. �Wow.�
�Someone was partying.�
�Most likely Nick.� They laughed.
�They�re probably in bed so that�s where I�m going and I�ll make all of Nicky�s dreams come true.�
�Just keep the noise down so MyKenna and I can sleep.�
�Like you�ll be sleeping.�
�Yeah.� They laughed again and started up the stairs.
�I�m surprised Nick didn�t come get me.�
�He probably forgot after all that alcohol he drank.�
�He was missing me so he didn�t know what to do.�
�Right.� They got to the top. �Goodnight, DJ.�
�Goodnight, Aaron.� She kissed his cheek and he walked to MyKenna�s room. Dakota walked to her and Nickolas� room and opened the door. She went inside, but stopped and looked. �What the fuck is going on here?� Nickolas and MyKenna jumped off the bed and looked at Dakota. Dakota just looked at them, as Aaron ran into the room.
�What�s going on?� Aaron asked looking.
�I just found my boyfriend and you�re girlfriend kissing,� Dakota replied and Aaron looked at them.
�DJ, look I�� Nickolas began, �it�s not what you think.�
�Oh really,� Dakota said. �Then what the hell is it?�
�It was just an innocent kiss,� MyKenna stated. �We just had too much to drink.�
�Too much to drink my ass,� Aaron said. �You kissed my brother.�
�And you kissed my best friend,� Dakota said to Nickolas. �That�s betrayal where I come from.�
�It meant nothing,� Nickolas and MyKenna said in unison.
�But you still did it,� Dakota snapped. �Knowing perfectly well it wasn�t supposed to happen.� They just looked at each other. �How would you like it if I kissed Aaron and you walked in? You wouldn�t like it very much.�
�DJ, calm down,� MyKenna said.
�Don�t you tell me to calm down,� Dakota said. �I just found you kissing my boyfriend in our bedroom. Maybe it ain�t a Spanish hoochie I have to look out for after all in stealing Nick from me�maybe it�s you.� MyKenna and Nickolas looked at each other.
�Deej, they might have kissed,� Aaron started, �but I don�t think they cheated.� Dakota looked at him. �I don�t think they have it in them to cheat on us although they kissed.� Dakota looked at them.
�Do I have anything to worry about?� Dakota asked and they looked at her. �Do I have to worry about my best friend sleeping with my boyfriend?�
�Of course not,� MyKenna said.
�Do I have to worry about my boyfriend sleeping with my best friend?� Dakota asked.
�Of course not,� Nickolas replied.
�So I don�t have anything to worry about then?� Aaron said.
�Of course not,� MyKenna said. �It was just an innocent kiss.�
�Then why is the bed a mess?� Dakota questioned and Nickolas took a deep breath.
�You know I never make the bed,� Nickolas answered and they just looked at each other. Dakota sighed and walked out of the room.
�Dakota!� Aaron said going out after her and Nickolas and MyKenna looked at each other.
�Whatever happened in this room between us tonight,� Nickolas began whispering, �it does not leave this room.�
�Nick, we just slept together,� MyKenna whispered in return. �How would you like to keep that a secret?�
�I don�t know, but just do it. Deej already has her suspicions of me cheating with that damn dream she keeps having.�
�I can�t keep this from her.�
�Well you have to, because I am not hurting her.�
�You should�ve thought about that before it happened.�
�Then you should�ve thought about my brother.�
�Ok, out,� Dakota said.
�DJ, I think we should resolve this together,� Aaron said.
�What�s to resolve?� Dakota asked. �I think we covered all the basics. Nick didn�t cheat, MyKenna didn�t cheat, we have nothing to worry about, and everything is fine.� She grinned and they looked at her.
�We should talk though,� Nickolas said.
�About what?� Dakota asked standing at the bottom of the bed and looked at it; remembering all the times she and Nickolas messed it up. �Unless, of course you did more than just kiss.� She turned and looked at them. �If not then we have nothing to talk about. Right?� They all looked at each other.
�Right,� Nickolas said.
�Ok then,� Dakota said. �Time for bed. I�m tired and I want to get some sleep so out.� She motioned Aaron and MyKenna out. �Nighty night.� She pushed them out and went to close the door.
�I don�t think this is settled,� MyKenna stated.
�Why not?� Dakota asked. �It was just an innocent kiss and nothing more. You said so yourself.� They looked at her. �What do ya want me to do? Do you want me to skitz out and shit? I have more control then that.� She grinned. �Just go to bed and have a good nights sleep.� They just looked at her and she closed the door.

�I have a feeling she�s going to do something self-destructive,� MyKenna said.
�Well it�s not everyday you come home and find the love of your life and best friend kissing,� Aaron said walking down the hall. �Or your girlfriend kissing your brother.�
�I know you�re upset, Aaron.�
�Upset? You were kissing my brother for crying out loud so how would you want me to feel?�
�You didn�t see it so how do you know it�s true?�
�I don�t think DJ would lie about it and you�re certainly not denying it for the sake of our relationship. I have no choice but to believe it.� He went to go into the bedroom, but turned around and went downstairs instead.
�Aaron!� MyKenna went down after him. �Let�s just talk about this. Please?�
�Why�d ya kiss him?�
�We had too much to drink and I thought I was kissing you and Nick probably thought he was kissing DJ.�
�And is that supposed to make it all better?�
�Of course not.�
�Alright then.�
�Yes we were wrong, but I love you and a stupid kiss with Nick ain�t going to change that. You and I shared something special and not me and Nick. I love Nick, but I�m not in love with him; I�m in love with you.�
�But you kissed my brother and I can�t act like it never happened. It did happen and it just ain�t going to go away within a few minutes. It�s going to be there until it drives one of us nuts. Nick knew how I felt about you yet he chose to kiss you anyway.�
�He probably thought he was kissing DJ.�
He rolled his eyes. �I ain�t buying that MJ and DJ ain�t going to either. And I don�t buy that you thought you were kissing me. Nick and I may look-a-like in many ways, but you can still tell us apart. I have brown eyes and not blue, and I highly doubt we kiss the same.� She just looked at him. �I�m going to have a hard time dealing with this whole situation and it�s probably just going to cause problems between us.
�What are you saying?�
�I�m saying that maybe we should just spend sometime apart for awhile.�
�You can�t be serious.�
�I know it�s not what you want to hear, but it�ll probably be for the best right now. It�ll be easier on the both of us.�
�I don�t see how. We have to work this out, Aaron, and I don�t think time apart will solve it.� She wiped her eyes.
�I�m just going to need time to think. My brother and girlfriend just kissed so I don�t know what to think.�
�Well I don�t want Nick, but I want you and I always will.�
�And I�ll always want you.�
�Then why do you want to spend time apart? I don�t understand.�
�We both have to think about what happened and by us being together everyday it�s not going to happen.� She just looked at him. �I got offered a cameo on a TV show and I think I�m going to take it now. I wasn�t going to so we could spend time together, but with what just happened the timing couldn�t be more perfect.�
�Just like that?�
�I�m sorry, MyKenna, but you kissed my brother. Besides entertainment, you usually don�t kiss someone if ya don�t have feelings for them.�
�I don�t have feelings for Nick.�
�You�re just saying that because it�s what I want to hear. You have to figure out your feelings, because if you don�t there is no way we�re going to be able to be together.�
�I didn�t say it, because you want to hear it, Aaron, I said it because I mean it. I don�t feel anything towards Nick and that�s the God�s honest truth. I love you and only want to be with you.�
�But your love for me didn�t stop you from kissing my brother and that hurts me.� Tears went down her face.
�I�m sorry.�
�I know you are, but you still have to sort out your feelings. Do you honestly love me? Or are you in love with Nick? You have to ask yourself those two questions and find the answer.�
�I already know the answer and it�s that I love you and no one else.� He just looked at her. �God, Aaron, if this wasn�t true do you think I would be this fucking upset? I don�t think I would be. I�m not a good actress like DJ is. You of all people should know I don�t lie about my feelings and I�m not lying now.� He just shook his head and walked out. �Aaron!� She ran after him and followed him outside to his car. �Aaron!� He looked at her. �Is this how you want to leave things?�
�No.�
�Then let�s talk about this.�
�But it�s better if we just take a few days to think about this. I need a few days to get use to the fact that my girlfriend kissed my brother.�
�But it meant nothing.� He wiped her eyes and kissed her cheek.
�Take sometime, MJ.� He got in his car and MyKenna just stood there crying and watched him drive off.
