�Money,� LaKeisha replied.
�You�re doing all this for money?� Jenai said. �God you are pathetic.�
�Not just any money,� LaKeisha began, �my inheritance.�
�What was the point in raping the girls if you just wanted money?� Nickolas questioned.
�Well Vin and his friends wanted a treat for their job,� Skip said. �Sort of like a going away present if ya know what I mean.� He pushed Nickolas to his knees and Jenai watched, as he cuffed him.
�Cuff him.�
�Just leave us go,� Jakob said, as the handcuffs went on his wrists. �We�ll give you anything you want.�
�You can�t, but they can.� He looked at the girls.

�Your turn, Miss�Miller,� Skip said pushing Jenai to her knees.
�Please don�t,� Jenai begged.
�That�s right,� Skip said. �You don�t like handcuffs. Gee I can�t understand why.� He smiled. �I guess spending a whole night handcuffed ten years ago would make a person hate cuffs. Especially if they�re getting raped that whole night too. I�m sorry it happened the way it did. We were only supposed to take you into the alley and do away with you. Vin and his buddies decided it was going to take a little longer.�
�You�re sick for letting them,� Nickolas stated.
�I�ve been called worse,� Skip said.
�Cuff the bimbo already,� LaKeisha said. �We have a surprise waiting.�
�So tell me,� Nickolas began, �what was the point in killing Callen Michaels?�
�Just trying to get Jenai�s attention,� LaKeisha answered.
�What about Detective Fatone?� Jenai asked. �Where does he fit in?�
�No where,� Skip replied. �He was just a diversion. Ya know, to throw ya off.�
�What about the box of goods,� Nickolas questioned.
�Another diversion,� LaKeisha said. �Joe wanted some excitement in his life and I took advantage of the opportunity. I made him an offer he couldn�t refuse.�
�What offer?� Jenai asked.
�If he stashed some stuff away for me he�d get 30% of our loot,� LaKeisha stated. �Plus we made it worth his while.� She smiled. �So Joe agreed and got his twit to stash it in her apartment. He thought it was worth something, but it wasn�t. We�ve been planning this ever since I heard you were still alive.�
�Where�s Fatone now?� Nickolas wanted to know.
�He�s around,� Skip said.
�Is he still alive?� Nickolas asked.
�Yeah,� LaKeisha replied. �We were just with him having some sexual fun.� She smiled some more.
�You had ten years,� Jenai said. �Why make me suffer with remembering? Why not kill me?�
�I wanted all three of you together this time,� LaKeisha stated. �That Marty is one hard guy to find. It�s no surprise really, because even as a kid he was.�
�We�re still not together,� Jenai said. �Jakob�s missing also.�
�It doesn�t matter,� LaKeisha said. �He never saw who it was.�
�But he knows,� Nickolas said. �Along with everyone else.�
�They�re just a waste of our time,� LaKeisha said. �I only need Jenai, Daniel, and Marty.�
�Why?� Jenai asked. �What could I possibly have that you would want?�
�Money,� LaKeisha said and Jenai and Nickolas looked at each other. �You, Brianna, Daniel, and Marty got an inheritance from my mother. An inheritance of $50,000 each. Now we need that money, because we got in way over our head. I know you have that money and with you three out of the way we�ll get it.�
�What is she talking about?� Nickolas asked.
�Grandmother Stevens was worth a lot,� Jenai pointed out. �When she died we each got $50,000 and Daniel�s fifty was split between us. Then when Brianna died hers was split between me and Marty. The rest of grams money was divided between several charities and family she liked.�
�We need that money,� LaKeisha said. �Mother disowned me and I got nothing.�
�Look at ya,� Jenai began, �You�re psychotic.�
�Like I said,� LaKeisha started, �I am focused.�
�And you�re really calm,� Nickolas said sarcastically.
�Quiet,� LaKeisha snapped. �Skip, bring there surprise.� Skip nodded and walked away.
�This is crazy,� Nickolas said. �It�s obvious you have no idea what you�re doing.�
�I know exactly what I�m doing.�
�Oh yeah. Well if you really wanted to kill us you would�ve done it already.�
�I�m waiting.�
�For what? Dooms Day?�
�I want my children together so they can see each other die.�
�Whatever.�
�Don�t patronize me, Detective. I will shoot you right now if you keep pushing me.�
�Don�t edge her on, Nick,� Jenai said. �She did kill Brianna and Alexis.�
�I only ordered it,� LaKeisha stated. �Vin and his pals carried it out.�
�You still killed them,� Jenai reminded her and LaKeisha smiled.
�And what do we have behind door number one?� Skip asked and they looked. �Or I should say who.�
�Summer,� Jenai said.
�Aaron,� Nickolas said, as they were forced in front of them and they all looked at each other.
�Do you like your surprise?� Skip asked.
�Are you two all right?� Nickolas asked and Summer and Aaron nodded.
�Eddie, did you find the others?� LaKeisha asked into the radio. They waited a second, but no one responded. �Eddie? Lou? Maria? Did you find them?�
�Yeah we found them,� Kevin�s voice came over the radio. �All three of them are safe and your three are�well let�s just say they�re in a lot of trouble.�
�Sergeant Richardson, it�s nice to hear from you,� LaKeisha said.
�Your friends just gave you up, Stevens,� Kevin stated. �We�re coming for you.�
�Son of a bitch!� LaKeisha yelled throwing the radio. �We have to do this now.� She walked over to Jenai and put the gun barrel against her temple. �Ok, I�m only going to ask you four times and each wrong answer someone dies, so where�s the money; all $200,000?�
�It went to the South Africa Refugee Fund,� Jenai answered.
�Wrong answer,� LaKeisha said. �Pick one, Skippy.�
�Eenie meanie miney mo who will be the first to go?� Skip wondered chuckling, as he pointed his gun at Nick, Summer, and Aaron. �How about the heroic detective?� He leaned down to Jenai. �You have a soft spot for him, don�t ya, Sweetie? You couldn�t get the little brother so you�ll settle for the next best thing.� Jenai just looked at him. �You�re in love with him so it�ll be a tragedy to watch him die.� He smiled and put the gun to Nickolas� head and Jenai and Nickolas just looked at each other. �Or what about the superstar?� He moved the gun to Aaron. �The one who healed your broken heart after Justin. The one who got you to trust in men again.� He smiled. �I can see the headlines now: Superstar Aaron Carter found dead in the Kentucky Mountains.� He continued smiling and looked at Summer. �Or is it going to be the beautiful blonde? A best friend. A confidant��
�I told you were it was,� Jenai said. �The South Africa Refugee Fund.�
�Don�t lie to me,� LaKeisha snapped. �We want the money and we want it now.�
�I told you,� Jenai said again.
�If you tell me where it is we might let you live,� Skip stated.
�Yea right,� Nickolas said rolling his eyes.
�Where�s the money?� LaKeisha asked again.
�The South Africa Refugee Fund,� Jenai repeated.
�Ugh!� LaKeisha moaned starting to pace.
�We�re not getting anywhere, Babe,� Skip pointed out. �Let�s just off �em and get out of here.�
�Not until we get what we need,� LaKeisha rebutted. �Where�s the money, Jenai?�
�She told where it is,� Nickolas said.
�No one asked you,� Skip said hitting Nickolas with the gun and he fell to the ground.
�Oh,� Nickolas moaned.
�I told you repeatedly,� Jenai snapped. �How many times do you want to hear it?�
�Ok then,� LaKeisha began, �where�s the diamond?�
�Diamond?� Nickolas said.
�What diamond?� Jenai questioned.
�You know what diamond,� Skip answered. �The one you stole from us.�
�The Heart Diamond of A� man Soo,� LaKeisha added.
�I have no idea what you�re talking about,� Jenai replied. �I never heard of it.�
�Sure you have,� LaKeisha said. �It was with us when we packed up the car 17 years ago, but it wasn�t there when we unpacked. Now Brianna didn�t have it and neither does Marty nor Daniel. The only one we can think of is you.�
�Like I said, I never heard of it,� Jenai stated.
�Why are you testing our patience?� Skip asked. �Remember the last time you did?�
�I got a beaten,� Jenai replied. �I�m too old for you to beat now, Skip.�
�Don�t even try it,� Nickolas warned. �I know what diamond you�re talking about.� He got up and they looked at him.
�Nick,� Aaron said.
�It was supposedly owned by this A� man Soo lady and she was killed for it. It was then a gift for Nefertiti and it was given to some other kings and queens after she died and then it was stolen and no one knows what happened to it. Some say it�s a myth.�
�It�s real,� LaKeisha stated. �My mother had it and now Jenai does.�
�It�s worth millions,� Skip added. �And we want it back.�
�Too bad you�re asking the wrong girl,� Jenai said.
�Will you shoot them already,� LaKeisha said. �She�s wasting our time.�
�Gladly,� Skip said aiming the gun at Aaron. He went to shoot, but Nickolas jumped up and knocked Skip to the ground.
�Run!� Nickolas yelled to the others, as Jenai got up and kicked the gun out of LaKeisha�s hand. She back handed her and started running.
�Nick, c�mon!� Jenai yelled following Summer and Aaron.
�Coming,� Nickolas said grabbing the gun from Skip and he started to run. �Keep going and don�t stop!� LaKeisha started shooting them and Nickolas fell to the ground and rolled down the hill behind the others. It didn�t take him that long to reach the bottom and he laid there moaning in pain.
�Nick, c�mon,� Aaron said to his brother.
�Go on without me,� Nickolas said.
�We are not leaving you behind,� Jenai rebutted pulling him into a sitting position.
�I was shot in the leg and I�m just going to slow you down,� Nickolas stated. �Now go.�
�Not without you,� Jenai said pulling him to his feet. �Now let�s go, Detective.�
�Jenai!� Skip yelled. �I�m going to get you ya little bitch!�
�Go!� Jenai ordered pulling Nickolas along and they started running again just to be stopped.
�Hold it right there! Don�t move!� A flashlight was shown on them.
�Kev, it�s us,� Summer stated. �Don�t shoot.�
�Please,� Nickolas said falling to the ground in pain. �Not again.�
�Where are they?� Jakob asked.
�Behind us,� Jenai said kneeling beside Nickolas.
�Let�s go!� Jakob ordered running off.
�Can you please get these cuffs off before I flip out?� Jenai requested.
�Sure,� Kevin said doing as told. �Are you guys all right?�
�Nick�s been shot,� Jenai stated. �He needs a doctor.�
�I think the bullet went through my leg,� Nickolas winced in pain.
�We�ll get ya to the hospital,� Kevin promised getting out his radio. �We have an officer down. I repeat, we have an officer down. One gun shot to the leg. We�re at the top of the mountain about a half mile from the old Foster mine.�
�Kev, how are the others?� Nickolas asked.
�They�re fine,� Kevin said.
�Good,� Nickolas said. �But I don�t trust Daniel.�
�Who does?� Kevin said.
�Sarge, what�s going on?� Justin asked.
�Nickolas� been shot,� Kevin replied.
�I�m fine,� Nickolas said. �It�s just my leg.�
�What do they want?� Kevin asked.
�Money and some diamond they think I have,� Jenai replied.
�The heart diamond of A� man Soo,� Aaron pointed out.
�That�s just a legend,� Nickolas said.
�I never heard of it,� Kevin said.
�Well they think I have it,� Jenai said. �They believe I stole it when I was dropped off.�
�What about the money?� Kevin asked.
�Marty and I had $200,000 combined,� Jenai stated.
�What?� Kevin said.
�She told them it was in the South Africa Refugee Fund,� Nickolas replied. �Which they didn�t believe.�
�Where is it?� Kevin questioned.
�The South Africa Refugee Fund,� Jenai answered and they just looked at her. �I wasn�t lying.�
�Why is it there?� Summer asked.
�We didn�t want it,� Jenai said, as there where gunshots.
�Don�t move!� they heard Jakob yell. �Drop your weapons!�
�God I hope this is the end,� Jenai said.
�How many were there?� Kevin asked.
�There was Skip, LaKeisha, and about four or five of their goons that I saw,� Jenai replied.
�Plus the three we got,� Kevin said. �That�s about nine or ten.� They all nodded and heard the helicopter followed by a light.
