�Go to hell,� Jenai said.
�After you,� the guy said.
�Leave her go,� Jakob pleaded.
�Not a chance,� the guy said. �You can watch.�
�Don�t you hurt her!� Jakob yelled and there was a gunshot. �JJ!�
�Jakob!� Jenai yelled sitting up only to be stopped. �Ow! Son of a bitch!� The light came on.
�JJ, are you all right?� Nickolas asked and she looked beside her. �Are you ok?�
�Uh, yeah,� Jenai said. �Can you take these cuffs off?�
�Sure,� Nickolas said getting his key.
�What�s going on?� Dannika asked turning on the other light.
�Nothing,� Jenai said. �Just a bad dream.� She looked at Nickolas. �Where�s Jakob?�
�At home most likely,� Nickolas replied, as she got out of bed. �Where are you going?� She walked out and Nickolas followed, as did Dannika.
�Is everything all right?� Justin asked, as Jenai picked up the phone.
�She just had a bad dream,� Nickolas replied.
�Then who is she calling this late?� Justin wondered and Nickolas shrugged.
�Jakie, it�s me,� Jenai said into the phone. �Please pick up so I know you�re alright.� She waited a second. �Jakob, pick up damn it. Where the hell��
�JJ, what do you want?� came Jakob�s voice over the phone.
�Thank God you�re all right.�
�Why wouldn�t I be?�
�I had a bad dream.�
�Are you ok?�
�Now that I know you are.�
�You have nothing to worry about.� She sighed. �Just get some rest and I�ll stop by in the morning.�
�Alright.�
�Don�t worry about anything. If you have to, cuddle up to the good Detective Carter for the rest of the night.�
�Yeah.�
�Go back to bed and get a good sleep.�
�Ok. I�ll see ya tomorrow then.�
�Goodnight.�
�Goodnight.� She hung up the phone and looked at the others. �Jakob�s ok.�
�That�s great,� Dannika said.
�Yeah,� Jenai agreed sighing.
�What happened?� Justin asked.
�A bad dream,� Jenai replied sitting on the sofa. �It�s nothing I can�t handle.�
�Do you want to talk about it?� Nickolas questioned and she looked at him. �We know it upset you and you might feel better.� She just looked at them and thought about the dream.
�Don�t you hurt her!� Jakob yelled and there was a gunshot. �JJ!�
�JJ?� Justin said as Jenai put her hand above her chest while staring at nothing.
Jenai rubbed that spot and said, �It was a cold Los Angeles night when it happened.�
�What happened?� Nickolas asked.
�When Brianna and Alexis died,� Jenai replied. �I was there and so was Jakob.� They all looked at each other. �I can�t remember how it happened exactly or why. All I know is that I was there and Brianna and Alexis were rapped and murdered; Kevin told me that, but I don�t remember it. I tried, but I can�t.�
�What about Jakob?� Dannika asked.
�He remembers, but I don�t want him to tell me,� Jenai said. �I want to remember on my own. Leighanne said it�s dangerous to remember it all at once. I can�t even remember who it was.�
�Does Jakob?� Justin asked.
�He said the angle was too dark from where he was,� Jenai said. �But I was in the light where I could see clearly.�
�Why can�t you remember?� Nickolas asked.
�I don�t know,� Jenai replied. �After it happened I blocked it out. I pushed it out of my memory, but now�� She sighed. �I think it�s coming back.�
�How so?� Nickolas asked sitting beside her.
�It wasn�t just a bad dream I had,� Jenai stated and they looked at her. �I think I had a memory.� They looked at her interested. �My sister and Alexis were lying on the ground in front of me covered in blood. Jakob was right beside me and we were both handcuffed.
�That�s why you flipped out when I cuffed you to the bed,� Nickolas said.
�I remembered being cuffed and then�and then shot,� Jenai stated. She moved her hand to reveal the scar. �I couldn�t even go to the funerals and say my goodbyes, because I was in the hospital fighting for my life.�
�I never saw the scar before,� Dannika pointed out.
�Me either,� Justin said.
�The joys of makeup,� Jenai said and looked at Justin. �I�m surprised you never did.�
�I was looking pass your flaws to the real you,� Justin stated.
�They said I was shot,� Jenai began, �but I couldn�t remember. I didn�t want to remember I guess, until now. I wish I didn�t though.�
�It�ll get better,� Dannika said.
�If I remember what happened,� Jenai said.
�You will,� Nickolas assured her. �Just don�t push yourself to remember. It�ll come to you when you least expect it.�
�I guess you�re right,� Jenai said taking a deep breath. �I shouldn�t keep you guys with my problems.�
�It�s ok,� Justin said.
�No it�s not,� Jenai said.
�What are friend�s for?� Nickolas asked and Jenai grinned.
�Get to bed,� Jenai demanded.
�Alright,� Dannika said, as they started walking to the bedroom. Jenai stayed on the sofa and Nickolas looked at her, as Dannika and Justin went into the bedroom.
�Are you coming?� Nickolas asked and Jenai looked.
�Uh, yeah,� Jenai said getting up.
�You�ll feel better after a goodnight�s sleep.�
�I guess so.�
�C�mon.� She walked over and looked at him. �You have nothing to worry about.� She didn�t say anything and went into the bedroom.
