�JJ!� He looked inside, but she wasn�t there. �Shit!� He looked around and saw a prostitute. He got the picture of Jenai and Brianna out of the truck and went up to the girl. �Excuse me?�
�Hey, handsome,� the girl said smiling. �Looking for some fun?�
�No; have you seen this girl?� He pointed to Jenai.
�Why do ya want her?�
�This is police business, ma�am.� He showed his badge. �Have you seen her?�
�She was going into Stefano�s when I was coming out.�
�Thank you.�
�But it was like an hour ago.� He nodded and walked away.
�Detective?� He looked. �JJ�s not in any trouble is she?�
�Of course not; she�s just a witness.� She smiled and Nickolas started walking again. After crossing the street he ran the rest of the way to Stefano�s. He went inside and looked around, but didn�t see her. A waitress walked by and he stopped her; showing his badge. �Did a young brunette come through here?�
�If you mean JJ she�s back in the office.�
�Richardson?�
�Yeah; she�s really shaken up too.�
�Take me to her.�
�This way.� Nickolas followed the waitress to the office and she opened the door. �In the corner.�
�Thanks; I got it from here.� The waitress walked away and Nickolas looked at Jenai, hiding in the corner like a frightened child. �JJ?� He walked over and knelt in front of her. �What happened?� She looked at him through crying eyes and still shaking. �Look at you; you�re shaking like crazy.� He took his jacket off and put it around her and got his radio. �Hey, Sarge, I found JJ.�
�Where is she?� Kevin asked.
�At Stefano�s on Alpine Drive.�
�Take her back to the hotel and I�ll be there shortly.�
�What about her truck?�
�I�ll have Kris get it.�
�Alright.�
�And Nick, make sure you�re not followed.�
�Over.� He put his radio back and looked at Jenai. �Alright, JJ, I�m going to get you into a nice warm bed.� He picked her up and walked from the office. He went out the back way, instead of the front, and walked to his car. He got to his car and put Jenai in the passenger side and got in the drivers side. He started his car, as there was a knock on the window. He looked and saw Jakob, then rolled his window down. �Hey.�
�Where did ya find her?� Jakob asked.
�Stefano�s.�
�Is she all right?�
�I don�t know. She hasn�t said anything. I�m taking her back to the hotel.� Jakob nodded.
�I�ll be there soon.�
�Ok.� Nickolas rolled up his window and drove off.

�Lay down here, JJ,� Nickolas said helping Jenai into her bed. He covered her up and knelt by the bed. �Do you want to tell me what happened?� She didn�t say anything and just looked at him. �JJ, I have to know.� She still didn�t say anything and Dannika and Justin walked in.
�How is she?� Justin asked.
�She still ain�t saying anything,� Nickolas said.
�Maybe we should call a doctor,� Dannika suggested.
�She probably just needs some rest,� Justin stated.
�How do you know?� Nickolas questioned.
�My cousin was in a state like this after her boyfriend died,� Justin said.
�And Jenai went through this when her sister died,� Jakob said and they looked. �She just needs to rest.�
�I still think we should call a doctor,� Dannika said.
�They�ll just tell you to let her rest,� Jakob stated.
�Then we should,� Justin said walking out.
�Well you seem to know what�s best for her,� Dannika said. �You know her the best.� She turned and walked out.
�C�mon, Nick,� Jakob said. �There�s nothing you can do right now, but leave her rest.�
�I shouldn�t have yelled at her,� Nickolas said smoothing Jenai�s hair back from her face. �If I didn�t she wouldn�t have took off.�
�What happened?�
�She gave me some information on the case and when she told me how she got it I got angry with her.�
�How�d she get it?�
�She snuck out the other night and went to Fatone�s house.�
�Are you serious?�
�Yeah; I got angry with her and she got angry back then locked herself in the bathroom.�
�It ain�t your fault, Nick. Jenai just gets angry easily and it ain�t anybody�s fault.�
�Whatever happened to her tonight is my fault.�
�No it�s not.�
�Where�s Jenai?� came Kevin�s voice from the outer room.
�In the bedroom,� Justin said. �But, Sarge�� Kevin pushed the door open and Nickolas and Jakob looked.
�What is this?� Kevin questioned spying Jenai on the bed and Nickolas standing beside it. �What�s going on?�
�Something happened to JJ tonight, Sir,� Nickolas replied.
�What happened?� Kevin wanted to know.
�I don�t know,� Nickolas answered. �She hasn�t said anything.�
�She�s in the same state she was in when Bri died, Kevin,� Jakob stated. �It could be days before she comes out of it.�
�Just great,� Kevin said. �Where did you find her?�
�Stefano�s,� Nickolas replied.
�Alright,� Kevin said. �Rich had found her at the bluff so, um�I�ll send some guys out to see if anyone saw anything strange and I�ll go check out Stefano�s. Nick and Justin stay here with the girls.�
�Alright,� Nickolas said.
�And, Jakob,� Kevin began, �you go home and get some rest.�
�I ain�t leaving JJ,� Jakob rebutted.
�Nick and Justin are here. I�m sure they�ll call if anything happens to her.�
�Of course,� Nickolas said and Jakob looked at him. �I promise.�
�Alright,� Jakob said.
�Now go home and get a good nights sleep,� Kevin said walking out.
�Yeah,� Jakob said looking at Nickolas, as he sat beside Jenai on the bed. He walked over and stood beside him. �She�s going to be ok, Nick.� He looked at him then back at Jenai. �Jenai doesn�t know how to give up. And when she wants something she goes after it. She wants to find Callen�s killer just like she still wants to find Brianna�s.� Nickolas didn�t say anything. �She�ll be fine.� He patted Nickolas� back then walked out, as Nickolas continued watching Jenai.
