Nickolas was at the hotel with Aaron and Summer. Justin took Dannika to Club Z to meet Orlando and Jenai still wasn�t communicating. Nickolas opened the bedroom door and looked in at Jenai; hoping for a change. Seeing no movement, he sighed and closed the door.
�Any change?� Summer asked and Nickolas looked.
�No,� Nickolas replied walking over and sitting by his brother. �She�s still out of it.�
�She�ll soon come around,� Summer said.
�Then you�ll know what happened,� Aaron added.
�Don�t you have to get Summer to work?� Nickolas asked.
�In a half hour,� Aaron replied.
�Right,� Nickolas said. �You�re just staying in hopes that JJ will come out of it so you can see her.� Aaron grinned. �Doesn�t that bother you, Sum?�
�No, because it�s JJ,� Summer said. �One of my best friends and I trust she won�t do anything.�
�She did want me though,� Aaron said and Nickolas looked at him. �Before you intervened.�
�I didn�t intervene,� Summer rebutted.
�Whatever,� Aaron said. �We were almost an item.�
�But she wasn�t quick enough,� Summer said. �So I intervened.� She smiled.
�Ah ha,� Aaron said. �She admits it finally.�
�Does it matter?� Nickolas asked. �Like JJ would really want you.�
�At least I ain�t a cop,� Aaron stated and Nickolas rolled his eyes.
�But you�re a pain in the ass,� Nickolas said.
�He�s just jealous, because I�m the better looking brother,� Aaron snickered. �And I actually did something with my talents.�
�I chose not to be a professional singer,� Nickolas said. �And I�m happy with the choice I made.�
�And that�s all that matters,� Summer pointed out. �And besides, if you weren�t a cop you probably wouldn�t have met, JJ.� Nickolas smirked.
�There�s nothing going on with us,� Nickolas said.
�Whatever,� Aaron and Summer said in unison.
�It�s totally professional,� Nickolas stated. �I�m just doing my cop duty in keeping her safe like Kev wants.�
�In the honeymoon suite?� Summer asked raising an eyebrow.
�Talk to the Sarge,� Nickolas replied. �He got it.�
�Right,� Aaron said.
�We seen you two the other day before you came here,� Summer said. �You were holding her in your arms and enjoying every second.�
�She was upset,� Nickolas pointed out.
�And you were right there,� Aaron smirked.
�Enjoying every second,� Summer repeated and Nickolas gave a side smile. �Admit it, Nick, you liked it.�
�It was nice,� Nickolas admitted.
�So ya like her, huh?� Aaron said.
�Uh�� Nickolas began hesitating. �Uh�yeah.� They smiled. �But I�m a cop and I know she won�t make an exception.�
�So you�ll just be her friend,� Summer said.
�If she�ll let me,� Nickolas said and Summer nodded.
�Maybe she�ll change her mind if you show her ya ain�t a bad guy,� Aaron suggested.
�I�ve been doing that,� Nickolas stated. �But she�s so bull-headed.�
�That�s JJ alright,� Summer said. �But she�s the best.�
�She�s something alright,� Nickolas agreed.
�But you love it,� Aaron said and Nickolas shook his head while smiling.
�We have to go, Babe,� Summer said. �I don�t want to be late.�
�Ok,� Aaron said, as they all stood up. �See ya later, Bro.�
�Yeah later,� Nickolas said. �See ya, Summer.�
�Bye, Nick,� Summer said and her and Aaron walked out. Nickolas watched the door shut then looked at his watch; almost ten. He sighed then went to the bedroom to check on Jenai.

Nickolas walked into the bedroom after his shower and went to close the door when he heard Jenai�s voice ask, �How was your shower, Detective?� He looked and saw Jenai lying on the bed in black lingerie.
�Um�it was nice.�
�Refreshing I hope.�
�Yeah.� He watched her get up and start walking towards him. �I thought you were out on the balcony?�
�It started raining so I came inside.� She grinned and put her arms around his waist. He went to stop her and she closed the door. She then wrapped her arms around him and nuzzled his neck.
�JJ, I have a job to do.�
�You smell so good and I love a man that smells good.� She looked at him. �Justin took Dani to see Orlando so they won�t be back for awhile.� She brushed his lips with hers and he tried to fight his arousal.
�Um�let�s keep this professional, JJ. I mean it was your idea after all.�
�I know, but let�s forget what I said for tonight.� She took her hands down his chest. �I want you and I can tell you want me.� She chuckled and took her hands over his stomach and down to the towel around his waist. �Let�s lose this shall we.� She undid the towel and left it fall to the floor. �Better.� She smiled and licked her lips.
�JJ, really�� She looked down.
�Nice; bigger than I thought it was.� She continued smiling and then covered his mouth with hers. He returned the kiss without hesitation and she pressed herself against him completely. �Make love to me now, Detective, or I�ll have your badge.� Nickolas picked her up and carried her over to the bed. �Nuh-uh; the balcony. I want to make love in the rain.�
�Alright.� He carried her out to the balcony and into the rain.
�Much better.� He laid her on the lounge bed and literally ripped her clothes off. She pulled him to her and kissed him.
�You taste so good, Jenai��
�Nick, wake up.�
He moaned and smiled while saying, �Mmm, you like that don�t ya?� Jenai raised an eyebrow
�Detective, are you all right?� He opened his eyes and saw Jenai�s face.
�Uh�yeah.�
�I thought something was wrong.�
�I�m fine.� He sat up. �Are you ok?�
�Yeah.� She sat beside him.
�I guess I dozed off.� She grinned. �Are you sure you�re all right?�
�Mm-hmm.� He just looked at her. �I�m fine, Detective.�
�If you say so.�
�Where is everyone?�
�Kev�s at home with Kristin, Jakob was going to Club Z with Chris, everyone else is doing God knows what, and Justin took Dani to work and to see Orlando.�
�Oh.� She sat back. �What day is it?�
�The 18th; you�ve been out of it for a week.� She didn�t say anything. �What happened?�
�Can this wait until morning?� He just looked at her. �Please?�
�If it must.�
�Thank you.�
�It�s top priority tomorrow morning.�
�Ok.� She grinned then laid down, putting her head in his lap.
�Do you want anything?�
�I�m fine.�
�Ok.� He looked at her. �You missed Summer and Aaron.�
�They were here?�
�Yeah; for awhile actually until Summer had to go to work.� She sighed. �Sorry.�
�It�s alright.�
�They said you use to have a thing for Aaron.� She looked at him and he nodded.
�I was ready to ask him out until Sum intervened and blew it. She said he wasn�t interested, but then I learned later that she just wanted him for herself. She told Aaron that I wasn�t interested so he wouldn�t ask me out.�
�But if you knew she just did it for herself then why didn�t you two do something about it?�
�Because she�s my friend; even though she hurt me I couldn�t get back at her.�
�When was this?�
�After my thing with Justin; Summer and Aaron broke up and I started hanging with Aaron and I realized I really liked him and he liked me, but Summer stopped it.� She sighed. �My friends have a habit taking the guys I�m interested in.�
�Your man will come.�
�Maybe.� He smiled. �Alex and I had a thing until Nikita came and then I got with Justin and spent 3 � years with him.�
�And now you�re waiting for the next poor unfortunate soul to come your way.�
�Something like that.�
�He better deserve you too.�
�Yeah.� They looked at each other for awhile. �Could you take me to the Club?�
�Um��
�Please? I promise to listen and when you say it�s time to go we can go.� He only looked at her. �I can get you in for free and get ya drinks or whatever on the house.�
�Whatever I say goes.�
�Deal.� She got up. �I�ll go shower quick and then we can go.�
�Alright.� She walked away then stopped.
�One more thing.� He looked at her. �Can you not dress like a cop tonight? Just enjoy yourself with me.�
�Ok.�
�Thank you.� She smiled and went into the bedroom.
