Cameron
Evan, Darling, there you are, I said when my beautiful fiance walked into her office. I walked over and greeted her with a kiss, but she didnt return it.
I asked you repeatedly not to call me that, Cameron, she said walking over to her desk and sitting down.
Where have you been? Ive been waiting for the past two and a half hours.
Wh-Wh-What is this, Cameron? She looked at me. Where are all my pictures of Nick? Theyve been replaced with pictures of you. What is going on?
I figured that since were getting married youd want some pictures of me instead of that Nick guy.
That Nick guy happens to be my very best friend of 21 years and is the only one that understands me.
I understand you, Darling. I walked over to her.
No you dont, Cameron.
Take a deep breath.
I dont want to take a deep breath, because Im fine. I didnt believe that. Where is all my stuff?
I did a little redecorating while you were out.
You what? I hate it. I want it out and all my stuff back.
Darling, this is more professional.
I dont do professional, Cameron. I do comfortable. This market these days is not all about professionalism anymore. Its about comfortableness. If you are comfy with your clients and the clients are comfy with you then you have a sale. I just looked at her surprised by the tone in her voice. Cameron, you cant change me no matter how much you try. I want all my stuff back by tomorrow afternoon. I dont care if it takes all night to get it back. I want it back.
Darling, arent you over-reacting just a little bit?
No Im not. I was having a good day until I came back to this. I looked at her. Cameron, if you want us to work then you cant try to change me. Its impossible. There was a knock on the door. Its open. We looked as the door opened. Nick!

Nickolas
I stood there at the door and watched as Evangelique ran over to me. She was still beautiful. She jumped in my arms and wrapped her legs around me while she kissed me. I was surprised by the kiss, but I kissed her in return. The kiss we shared was one we havent shared in a long time. The ones we would share now were just quick little ones. By this kiss I had to wonder if she had the same feelings I did. She stopped the kiss and looked at me. We smiled at each other then she hugged me.
I missed you so much, she said.
I missed you even more.
I doubt it. We laughed. She just held onto me for what seemed like the longest time. I started to wonder that maybe something was wrong with her. Her hold got tighter on me.
Are you all right?
Huh? She looked at me. Im fine. She got down, but didnt leave me go. Why didnt you say you were coming home?
I wanted to surprise you.
Well it worked. Im surprised. She hugged me again.
Im glad. I noticed the guy standing at her desk and he cleared his throat. Evangelique looked at him and then at me. Is that him? She said she was kind of seeing someone, but I thought it was over.
UmNick, this is Cameron Porter. Cameron, this is Nick Carter. He walked over and we shook hands.
You must be the best friend I hear so much about, Cameron said.
Yeah. And you would be? I asked.
The ever loving devoted fianc, Cameron said and I just looked at him.
Cameron, Evangelique said.
Excuse me? I said.
Im hoping you didnt think you were the only man in her life, Cameron said and I glared at him. I didnt like this guy already. After Evan and I are married itll just be us and Ill be her best friend. What was this guys problem? Who was he deciding Evangeliques future? Where did he get off calling her Evan? Youll have no reason to be around her.
Ugh! Evangelique said disgusted. CJ, you are so close to be walking down that damn aisle yourself. I looked at her, as she walked over to her desk. I aint even joking this time. Then let him.
Darling, Cameron said. Just take a deep breath. She glared at him and I grinned. Have you visited Dr. Jacobson lately? You need to get rid of the stress cloud hovering about you.
I dont think its any of your business when she goes and sees Chloe. Its her personal life.
Which I am a big part of, Cameron said.
Get over yourself, CJ, Evangelique said. My life does not revolve around you.
Darling, I just Cameron began.
Dont, Evangelique warned, cutting him off. I dont want to hear it.
What happened to your furniture? It looks like Martha Stewart came in and took over.
Cameron thought I needed a more professional looking office, Evangelique stated. So he came in and took all my stuff, but its going to be back by tomorrow. Right, Cameron?
Yes, Cameron said.
Then I suggest you get moving on it, Evangelique said. Not only did you come in here and take my furniture, but youre being a jerk and you couldnt keep your mouth shut about us getting married. I personally told you I didnt tell Nick about it.
I thought you did considering the weddings in a month, Cameron said and I looked at Evangelique in shock.
A month?
Yes a month, Cameron replied. Is that a problem for you?
Cameron, get the hell out of here now, Evangelique yelled jumping up and I just looked at her. Youre walking on a very thin thread right now and I swear if you keep this shit up its over between us.
Darling, I think youre just... Cameron started.
Out! Evangelique yelled. Now! Or Ill have you thrown out! Cameron just looked at Evangelique, as she glared at him. She pointed to the door and Cameron turned to walk out.
Ill wait up for you, Cameron said.
Dont bother, Evangelique said, as Cameron walked out and she ran over and slammed the door shut. Damn it! I looked at her. I had one month exactly to tell Evangelique how I felt and still feel. I didnt even have one idea how to do it.
