The next morning, Nickolas walked from the hallway and walked over to the sofa. He looked at his sleeping wife then sat beside her. He looked at the clock; almost twelve. He looked back at Sunshine and smiled. Per haps he should wake her up. He loved waking her up then again he loved watching her sleep. He continued smiling and pushed the hair from her face, as the phone rang. He quickly picked it up before it woke Sunshine.
�Carters.�
�Hey, Prick, it�s Brian.�
�Hey, man.� He got up and walked to the kitchen. �What�s up?�
�I was hoping we could talk about last night and Delia.�
�What about it? Nickolas wasn�t happy at all.
�Well, I think you have a right to know that Delia�s an old friend or ours.� Nickolas stayed silent. �We met her a couple years after the group started when we went out clubbing and stuff, but you were too young to go with us and ya just never met her.�
�So what you�re saying is that last night was all a setup to see if I�d cheat on Sunnie or not. Am I right?�
�Yeah, but I want you to know that I had nothing to do with it.�
�You want me to believe that after what ya just told me?�
�I hope so. I was totally against it and I thought I talked the guys out of it.�
�Apparently you didn�t. How could you think of something like that knowing how much I love my wife?�
�It wasn�t me.�
�But you knew about it and didn�t tell me what they were up to.�
�I didn�t tell you, because I know how your temper gets and you wouldn�t have agreed to go out with us.�
�You still should�ve told me. That�s what friends do and you�re supposed to be my best.�

�After it happened and almost ruined things between me and Sunnie. I want to thank you too.�
�So you talked to Sunn then?�
�Yeah; she was really upset over it too. I had to make her realize I would never cheat on her. It took awhile, but I convinced her.�
�That�s good.�
�Totally.� He walked from the kitchen and back over to the sofa.
�Than ya made up?�
�Definitely.� He smiled and looked at a still sleeping Sunshine.
�Are you going to tell her?�
�When she wakes up.�
�It�s twelve.�
�We had a long night and we were making up the nineties way.�
�I understand so no details please.�
�I wasn�t going to share anyway.�
�Good.�
�Yeah.� Nickolas looked at Sunshine as she moved and opened her eyes. He smiled as Sunshine stretched and yawned. �Hey, I�m going to go.�
�Sunshine awake?�
�Yeah.�
�Figured, because there�s a different tone in your voice.�
�Whatever.� They laughed. �Thanks for calling.�
�Anytime. I�ll see ya later.�
�Bye.� Nickolas heard a click on Brian�s end then hung up the phone and looked at Sunshine. �Good afternoon.� She only grinned. �It is 12:10 p.m. on this beautiful Saturday afternoon.�
�Well you kept me up late last night,� Sunshine reminded him. �Of course I�d be tired. Aren�t you?�
�You can never tire me out. I love what you do to me.�
�And I love what you do to me.� She smiled and he went to kiss her, but she covered her mouth with the blanket.
�What?�
�Morning breath.�
�I just brushed my teeth.�
�Me.�
�I don�t care.� He moved the blanket from her mouth, but she covered her mouth with her hands. �Why must you make things complicated for me?�
�Because I love you.�
�And I love you, but don�t get cute.�
�Why not?� He shook his head and moved Sunshine�s hands from her mouth. �I got morning breath.�
�And I don�t care.� He leaned down. �I want to kiss my wife.� She smiled. �She�s sexy and a great kisser.�

�She really�knows how to�turn me on.� He smiled and moved the blanket away from her. He looked her over then got on top of her.

�Someone�s at the door.� She took her hand from his shorts.
�I was almost there.� She shook her head. �You�re evil.� She smiled and pushed him off her. She grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around her. The doorbell rang again and they looked at each other. �Please finish.�
�Later.� She got up.
�No, Sweets.� He grabbed her. �You�ll finish now.�
�Are you my boss?�
�Please?�
�Nope.� She freed herself and walked to the door.
�You are so evil.� She looked at him and smiled. �But I love it.�
�I�m glad.� The doorbell ran again. �What?�
�It�s Destiny,� they said.
�Hold on,� Sunshine said and looked at Nickolas. �GO hide that thing.�
�Why?� Nickolas asked.
�Because I don�t want my friend to see it. Now go.�
�Alright.� Nickolas walked back the hall. Sunshine smiled and opened the door.
�Get in here quickly.� Destiny walked inside and Sunshine closed the door.
�So you made up last night,� Destiny said smiling and Sunshine picked up Paradise.
�Of course.�
�That�s good.� Sunshine sighed. �It wasn�t his fault.�
�I know.�
�You do?�
�Yeah; after Nick ran after you last night we found out what actually happened.�
�So the guys explained?�
�Brian did most of the explaining.�
�So he explained the girl came onto Nick?�
�More or less.� Sunshine just looked at her. �I came by to see if you�re alright.�
�Yeah.�
�Plus I didn�t want to be around Alex.�
�Why not?�
�Sunnie!� Nickolas called as there was a knock.
�Will you get that while I see what he wants?�
�Sure.�
�Thanks.� Sunshine put Paradise down and went back to the bedroom as Destiny walked to the door.
