Sunshine and Nickolas were in Apollo Beach out on the boat. They were just floating in the water and lying on the front deck. It was a beautiful day and they were enjoying their time alone together. Nickolas had to go back into the studio in a couple days and Sunshine had to go on location for a movie. Sunshine looked up at the clear blue sky as Nickolas looked at her. He smiled as he took her one hand in his and kissed it. She looked at him and smiled.
�I love you,� he said.
�I love you,� she said as they kissed.
�How Are you feeling?�
�Fine. Why?�
�You haven�t been feeling well lately.�
�I feel fine.�
�Did you call Dr. Martin?�
�What for?�
�Sweets, I told you to call him the other day so we can find out why you�re so sick anymore.�
�I�m fine, Nicky.�
�You know I don�t believe that.�
�Why not?�
�Sunnie, I watch you constantly.� She looked at him. �Half the time you walk around like you�re in tons of pain, you�ve been throwing up for the past couple months, you�re always tired, and I could go on. I�m very worried ya know.�
�Over nothing.�
�Why must you be complicated?�
�To annoy the hell out of you.�
�Well it works.�
�I�m glad.� She smiled and kissed him. �I�m fine right now.�
�That�s good.�
�I could run a marathon.�
�Great, but I�m calling Dr. Martin when we get back to the house.�
�I�m 26 and I can decide for myself.�
�And I�m your husband who wants you healthy.� She only looked at him. �I love you and don�t want anything to happen to you. I just wouldn�t be able to do anything or go on with life if I lost you in any kind of way.�
�Nothing�s going to happen to me, Baby.�
�Maybe not today or tomorrow, but who knows about next week, next month, or next year.�
�Are you trying to jinx me?�
�No, just being realistic. I just love you too much to sit and watch you go through this without doing anything.�

�We can call Barrett.�
�Huh?�

�Well, you seem to care enough.�
�More than you know.� He smiled.

�I�ve been happy the moment I saw you at that gas station.�

�Ever since you told people we met at a gas station I�ve been referred to as the �gas station girl�. I hate it.�
�It ain�t that bad.�
�Whatever.� He laughed. �You think that�s funny?�
�Yeah.�
�Then go away.� He kissed her and positioned himself on top of her.
�One year and five days.�
�A very happy one year and five days.�
�Oh yeah.� They kissed. �When you leave for Texas on Wednesday I�m going to miss you so much.�
�I�ll miss you too, but you can come visit me.�
�We�ll be going from New York to Orlando to Sweden then back again and do it all over.�
�I�ll only be in Texas.� She grinned.
�Yeah, well, I like when we�re apart.�
�Excuse me?�
�Because when we get back together its very fun and exciting.� She nodded. �I�m glad you agree.�
�Yep.�
�Ya know what�s about to happen on this boat in a few minutes is going to be very fun and exciting too.�
�How fun?�
�Real fun.� Something hit the boat as Nickolas kissed her. �Whoa!�
�What was that?�
�Something ruining our fun.�
�Take a look and see.�
�Alright.� Nickolas got off her. �It�s probably just a dolphin.� He looked over the side. �Oh!�
�What is it?�
�Um�uh�uh, just�.just get your feet out of the water and get off the front deck.�
�Why?�
�Just do it, alright.�
�Fine. Sheesh.� She did as Nickolas requested and a couple seconds late he joined her.
�I think it�s time to go back to the mainland.� He started the boat and Sunshine stood beside him. He put her in front of him and she looked at him.
�What was that?�
�Just a shark.�
�A shark?�
�Yeah.� She continued looking at him. �I think it was a great white. Nothing to be worried over.�
�Then that�s probably what touched my feet.� He looked at her. �What?�
�It could�ve bit your feet off.�
�I still got them.�
�Luckily.�
�I thought they didn�t attack unless attacked.�
�I don�t know, because I never came in contact with one.�
�Oh, sorry. Don�t get all excited.�
�I already am.�
�Well I�m not anymore.� He looked at her again. �I�m actually hungry.�
�You just ate before we came out.�
�So. You eat all the time so why can�t I?�
�You�ll probably just throw it up again like earlier.�

�And nothing�s wrong with you.�
�I agreed to go to the doctor so let�s leave it at that for now.�
�Ok.� She looked at him and he kissed her.

�Hey, Love,� Kevin said joining Venus in the kitchen and kissing her.
�Hey,� Venus said. �Are you hungry?�
�I�m starving.�

�Whatever you�re making there.�
�Ok.� He opened the refrigerator. �How was your morning?�
�Good. What about yours?�
�Good.�
�Then your check-up went well.�
�Yep. Everything�s fine.�
�The baby�s ok?�
�Yep.�
�That�s great.� He got the milk.
�Dr. Jeffres said he�ll do a sonogram next month. He was going to do one today, but the machine wasn�t working right.�
�Did ya hear the heartbeat?�
�That wasn�t working either.�
�Oh.�
�Everything�s fine though.�
�When�s your next appointment?�
�June 20.�
�I think I have that day free.�
�Cool.� She set two plates on the table.
�Did you think of a girls name yet?�
�Well I like Misha Danielle, Kendall Marie, and Josephine Rose. What about you?�
�I like Nicole Anne.� Venus made a face.
�Stick with the boy name.�
�Kevin Scott.�
�Yeah.�
�I�ll leave the girls name up to you.�
�Ok.� They sat at the table. �I�m really going towards Misha Danielle though.�
�That�s a nice name.�
�I thought so too.� They smiled.
�Whatever you decide will be fine with me.�
�Good, because I ain�t going to change it for anyone.�

�Yeah.� She smiled and started eating.
