Howard and Josephine sat at the condo alone. Neither talked about the whole Sunshine situation and Josephine liked it that way. They were resting after a wild night of partying in New York for the MTV new years bash. They didn�t see Sunshine and Nickolas since Brian and Danielle�s reception and Josephine was glad. She was happy that she had Howard all to herself and that Sunshine wasn�t there to interrupt them.
Josephine looked at Howard, smiled and said, �I love you.� She kissed him.
Howard just looked at her and said, �I love you too, but where did that come from.�
�My heart.� They both smiled. �I�m glad the wedding is soon here. I�m so excited.�
�So am I.� They kissed and stayed silent for a while. Howard looked at Josephine and said, �Sweetie, I need to talk to you about something.�
�What is it?�
�About Sunn.� Josephine looked at him. �I know you�re jealous of her and you don�t need to be. I may care for Sunn very much, but it doesn�t mean I want to spend eternity with her. I know how happy she is with Nick and I don�t want to ruin that. I want you to know I�m very happy with you and don�t regret anything we shared or will share.�
�I have a shoot out in L.A. this weekend for CK,� Josephine said changing the subject. �I want you to come with me.�
�And I�m trying to have a serious conversation with you.� He got up. �This is about our future, Josie.�
�What about it?�
�We either talk about your problem with Sunn or there�s no wedding next month. I tried forgetting it, but I can�t anymore.�
�What do you want me to say, Howie? That I�m perfectly fine and everything�s cool with you being in love with Sunn? I can�t, because it ain�t fine or cool.� She got up herself. �I just think it�s best for the both of us that you stay away from Sunn until the wedding. It�s the way I feel and I�m not changing my mind about it.�
�I can�t believe I�m hearing this coming out of your mouth. How do you expect me to stay away from her? She�s my friend, my best friend�s fianc�e, and my fianc�e�s best friend. It ain�t going to work. It�s totally impossible.� There was a knock. �Don�t��
�It�s open!� Howard just looked at Josephine and shook his head, as Kevin and Venus walked in. �How�s it going?�
�Good,� Venus said. �And you?�
�The same,� Josephine said. �What brings ya by?�
�In the neighborhood,� Kevin replied. �And we had nothing else to do.�
�Everything set for the wedding?� Venus asked.
�There�s a few things we need to do yet,� Howard replied. �It�s coming along great though.�
�That�s good to hear,� Kevin said.
�How are your wedding plans coming along?� Josephine asked.
�Great,� Venus said. �When I sit to plan it I can�t believe it�s actually happening.�
�Well it is,� Kevin said. �And I can�t wait.� They kissed and the door opened. They looked and saw Brian, Danielle, Alexander, and Destiny walk in.
�Don�t you people have things to do?� Josephine asked.
�You sound like Sunn,� Alexander smirked closing the door.
�We brought pizza,� Brian said putting the pizza on the table. �Anyone hungry?�
�Actually I�m starving,� Sunshine said from the door and they all looked to see her and Nickolas.
�Plane food ain�t the best,� Nickolas added.
�Look who it is,� Danielle said. �Satan and his wife.�
�You guys got married,� Josephine said.
�No, Bonehead,� Sunshine replied. �Not yet.�
�Then why�� Josephine began.
�Forget it, Jo,� Danielle said.
�Good thing we got four pizzas,� Alexander said.
�Ooh, look at you Des,� Sunshine said walking over to her. Sunshine put her hand on Destiny�s stomach. �You�re popping out all over. Does he move?�
�They,� Destiny corrected her. �We�re having twins.�
�Someone�s not going to get any sleep,� Sunshine snickered, as she felt one of the baby�s move. �He moved. Cool.�
�Someone�s back to their old self,� Venus said.
�They moved again,� Sunshine stated smiling.
�Why don�t you have one of your own,� Kevin suggested. Sunshine and Nickolas looked at each other and smiled. �Unless��
�No!� Nickolas was quick to say.
�We agreed to try in a couple years,� Sunshine stated.
�We�re happy with it being just the two of us,� Nickolas replied. �We�re in no hurry.�
�That�s good to hear,� Kevin said.
�Where were you guys?� Josephine asked, as Nickolas sat beside Sunshine on the sofa. �You missed your birthday party, our engagement party, the Christmas eve party, the New Year�s bash at MTV�you missed everything.�
�We performed at MTV, Nick, and you weren�t there,� Kevin said.
�No one told me,� Nickolas rebutted. �So don�t start yelling at me.�
�You guys had a party for me,� Sunshine said.
�The day you left,� Howard said. �On your birthday.�
�We even froze the cake,� Kevin said. �And all your presents are in your room.�
�I already know what Dani got me,� Sunshine said smiling and they all looked at her. �It�s the same thing she got the others for their birthday.�
�And what�s that?� Danielle wanted to know.
�The New Karma Sutra book/video thingy,� Sunshine said.
�That�s your Christmas gift.�
�Whatever.�
�Why didn�t you stop us from leaving?� Nickolas questioned.
�We tried, but you insisted,� Brian said.
�The Disney thing,� Nickolas said.
�That�s it,� Danielle said.
�I told them to tell ya, Nick,� Alexander began, �but no one listens to me.�
�Enough, Alexander,� Destiny warned.
�Don�t you just hate pregnant women?� Danielle asked. �They�re really bitchy.�
�Too bitchy,� Alexander replied.
�So where were you hiding?� Howard asked and Sunshine and Nickolas looked at each other. �Paris?�
�It�s not my decision to tell,� Nickolas said to Sunshine. �Only if you�re ready.�
�Is everything all right?� Kevin questioned concerned.
�We�re fine,� Sunshine answered. �Nick�s fine and I�m fine.� She gave Nickolas a kiss and they looked at each other smiling. They continued looking at each other and the others looked at them.
