Brian, Danielle, Nickolas, and Sunshine were in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Chapel O� Love getting pictures. It was about 2:30 p.m. and after Brian and Danielle�s nuptials. Nickolas and Sunshine sat in the front pew not talking and just looking at Brian and Danielle. Sunshine looked at Nickolas then at his hands. He had them folded in his lap and she reached over and put her hand in his. He didn�t look at her or do anything and Sunshine looked at him, but said nothing. She just left his hand go, wiped away a tear, and got up. She walked to the back of the Chapel and didn�t even look back at him, as she walked out. Nickolas just sat there thinking, as Brian and Danielle walked over to him.
�All done,� Danielle said. �Where�s Sunnie Jo?� Nickolas shrugged. �She probably went to the restroom.�
�Can we go eat now?� Brian questioned. �Since I�m not nervous anymore I�m starving.�
�Men are such pigs,� Danielle said, as they walked out of the Chapel. �I�ll go check in the restroom for Sunn and meet you guys outside.�
�Ok,� Brian said, as Danielle went left and he and Nickolas continued straight.
�How does it feel to be married?� Nickolas asked.
�Really no different. I just get to wear the same ring the rest of my life. There�s nothing to it. Just making a commitment to spend the rest of your life with the person you love.�
�It seemed simple enough.�
�It is. You just get really nervous, because ya can�t believe it�s actually happening. When you�re done you get really hungry.� They laughed and walked outside. They stopped when they saw Sunshine sitting on the step. �Sunn?� Sunshine sat up straight, but didn�t get up or turn around. Nickolas and Brian looked at each other, as Sunshine wiped away tears they couldn�t see. �Are you all right?�
�Um�yeah I�m fine,� Sunshine said not even looking at them. �Just got a little sick to my stomach. I just came out for some fresh air.�
�You could be pregnant,� Brian said and Nickolas smiled.
�I don�t think so, Brian,� Sunshine stated standing up. �I�m on birth control and it�s very effective.�
�I didn�t find�� Danielle began and spying Sunshine, �there you are, Sunn.�
�Here I am,� Sunshine said still not turning around and they walked over to her.
�We�re going to go eat,� Danielle said. �Brian�s hungry.� They stood beside her and she just lowered her head.
�Ok,� Sunshine said. �I�m going to go to the restroom first. I�ll catch up.� She turned and quickly walked away.
�Is she all right?� Danielle asked.
�She said she just got sick to the stomach,� Brian replied. �She�s probably just hungry.�
�Then let�s start walking to the restaurant,� Danielle suggested, as she and Brian began walking. �Coming, Nick?�
�I�m going to wait for Sunnie,� Nickolas said.
�Ok,� Brian said. �You know what restaurant.� They walked away and Nickolas just stood there.
Nickolas waited almost ten minutes until Sunshine came out. They looked at each other and Nickolas reached for her hand, but Sunshine walked by him not saying a word. Nickolas watched her dumbfounded then followed behind her. They walked to the restaurant and found Brian and Danielle waiting inside the door. They all just looked at each other and then the hostess led them to their table. Brian pulled out Danielle�s chair, as Nickolas went to pull out Sunshine�s, but she sat herself. As Nickolas and Brian sat down, the three of them looked at Sunshine confused. Sunshine picked up the menu and looked at it, not saying a word.
�What can I get you to drink?� the French hostess asked.
�A bottle of your best champagne,� Brian replied.
�Water, please,� Sunshine said.
�Ok,� the hostess said, �Your waiter will be with you shortly.�
�Thank you,� Danielle said and the hostess walked away.
�I need to use the little boy�s room,� Brian said. �Come, Nick.� Nickolas looked at Sunshine, who was still looking at the menu, and got up.
Brian and Nickolas walked away and Danielle asked, �So what�s wrong now?�
�What do ya mean?� Sunshine asked not looking at her.
�With you and Nick.�
Sunshine took a deep breath and said, �I don�t know.� She put the menu on the table. �The only thing Nick said to me was �morning�. He hasn�t talked to me for the past twenty-four hours. He didn�t even kiss me when we woke up this morning or when we went to bed. He always puts his arms around me when he goes to bed, but not last night.�
�I�m sorry.�
�He even locked the bathroom door when he was showering. He never locks the door or hardly shuts it. I had to wait like an hour to go pee this morning. I�m afraid I did something wrong.�
�It�s probably nothing. Nick is a guy.�
�Hello,� a French waitress interrupted.
�Hi,� Danielle said, as the waitress put Sunshine�s water on the table and went to pour the champagne, but Danielle stopped her. �You don�t need to do that.�
�Ok. I�m Gisele and I�ll be your waitress. Are you ready to order?�
�Can you give us ten more minutes?�
�Sure; I�ll be back.�
�Thank you.� She walked away and Danielle looked back at Sunshine. �Nick loves you and you�re worrying over nothing.�
�Hello, Ladies,� Brian interrupted, as he and Nickolas sat down. �Mrs. Littrell.�
�Mr. Littrell.� They kissed. Nickolas looked at Sunshine, as she took a small bottle from her purse. He watched her open it, as Danielle asked, �Sunn, what are you popping now?� Sunshine looked at her. �Well?�
�It�s just painkillers for my shoulder,� Sunshine lied taking the pill and swallowing it with water, as Nickolas took the bottle. �Nick, give it back.�
�The doctor didn�t give you a prescription for painkillers,� Brian pointed out, as Nickolas read what was on the bottle. Sunshine looked at the three of them and Nickolas looked at Sunshine worried. �He said he wasn�t going to even if your shoulder was torn.� Nickolas handed Sunshine the bottle, but said nothing.�
�He changed his mind,� Sunshine said when Nickolas didn�t speak. �The pain was just too much.� She put the bottle back in her bag.
�Oh,� Brian said. �Anyone want a drink?�
�I�m fine,� Sunshine said picking up the menu, as Nickolas looked at her and Brian poured the champagne. �I don�t understand any of this.� They all looked at her. �It�s all in French. I spend over a month in Paris and I learned the language, but I have no clue what this says. It�s only been seven months.�
�Sunnie, calm down,� Nickolas said taking her hand. �I can translate it for you.� Sunshine only looked at him. �There�s steak, fish, beef, pork��
�I�ll just have the steak,� Sunshine interrupted.
�Are you sure?� Brian asked.
�Yeah,� Sunshine said then looking at Danielle, as she took a sip of champagne. �You shouldn�t be drinking that.�
�It�s only a sip,� Danielle said.
�A sip that can turn fatal,� Sunshine said switching drinks with Danielle.
�You just took medicine,� Nickolas reminded her.
�I�m not the pregnant one,� Sunshine reminded him. �I�ll be fine. They just looked at her, as she stared at the table blankly.
