�I�m not cute.� He walked over to her. �You are.� He put his arms around her waist and asked, �Do you honestly want to marry me?�
�Of course I do. It�s been my dream since I can remember. Why do you ask?�

�If you�re going to mention Brad I swear I�ll leave you right now.� Nickolas just looked at her with a guilty face. �Damn it, Nickolas. Brad and I are just friends. Nothing�s going on between us. We might have gone out a few times, but nothing happened.� Ok that wasn�t entirely true, she thought. �We agreed to just be friends, because he knew how I felt about you. He was always there for me when I needed someone. Brad�s a good guy and you of all people should know that.� Nickolas didn�t say anything and Sunshine walked away from him. �I don�t know why I�m defending Brad to you. It�s clear you�re jealous of him.�
�I told you I�m not jealous, Sweets.�
�You�re so pathetic. You can�t lie to me, Nicky, because I can read you like a book. You are jealous of Bradley Fischetti; my best friend.� She opened the door and went out.
Nickolas went after her and said, �I�m not jealous of Brad. How many times do I have to tell you that?�
Still walking, Sunshine turned and looked at him disgusted. Nickolas caught up with her and stepped into the parlor as everyone yelled, �Surprise!�
Sunshine and Nickolas just looked at everyone and each other. They looked back at the crowd and Sunshine asked, �What is this?�
�Your engagement party,� Brian said.
�Howie and I thought of it,� Josephine stated.
�You didn�t have to,� Sunshine said.
�This is my thank you for giving me a place to live,� Josephine said. �And of course for letting me have Howie.� Everyone laughed and Nickolas and Sunshine just looked at each other.
�You can keep him,� Nickolas began, �because he ain�t getting her back. No one�s getting her.� He gave her a kiss.
�I can�t believe how jealous you are,� Sunshine said in front of everyone and pushing him away. She walked away, shaking her head, and went into the kitchen.
Nickolas looked at her dumbfounded and everyone looked at each other. Nickolas watched Bradley go into the kitchen after Sunshine and he went out to the balcony.

�Sunn,� Bradley said, as Sunshine looked. �What�s wrong?�
�Nick,� Sunshine replied. �He�s being a jealous jerk.�
�I don�t think I understand.�
�He can�t accept the fact that you�re my best friend and that I�ve been spending time with you lately.�
�He�s jealous of me?� She nodded. �He doesn�t need to be.�
�I told him that, but it�s not sinking into that blonde head of his. How am I supposed to handle that? How do I accept the fact that my fianc� don�t trust me?�
�He does, Sunn.�
�I love Nicky so much and I definitely want to marry him. I�m afraid that if he keeps acting this way it�s going to come between us. He�s been like this since mid-May. I�m so scared.�
�Do you want me to talk to him? That way he knows I�m not after you.�
�If he listens. It�s become a habit for him not to listen when it comes to you.�
�I can try.� Sunshine stayed silent. �You know I�d do anything for you to make sure you stay happy. We are best friends after all.� Bradley saw tears in her eyes. �Wipe away those tears and give me a huge smile.� She did as he requested and gave a little smile.
�I can�t believe I�m crying.�
�That proves you love Nick.�
�With all my heart, body, and soul.�
He gave her a hug. �This is your engagement party. Enjoy it, because it�s the only one you�re going to get.�
�I hope so.� They laughed.
�Now go out there and lay a wet one on Nick; the love of your life.�
�You always make me feel better, Bradley.�
�What are friends for? I�ll always be here for you no matter what.�
�You better.� They just smiled. �Excuse me; I need to go find my jealous fianc�.�
�Then go.� Bradley watched her walk out and shook his head.

�I don�t know what else to tell you, Nick,� Brian said after telling Nickolas that Sunshine loves only him and not to worry about anything, but Nickolas still wasn�t sure what to do and it annoyed the hell out of Brian. �Except to trust her and understand her. You guys are getting married in February. Sunn wouldn�t do anything to stop that.�
�I can�t help but think it�s starting all over again,� Nickolas stated sighing. �With Sunnie playing me and everything else.�
�You�re stupid to think that. She�s in love with you and nothing will ever change that.�
�I am stupid I know. I�m stupid for ever thinking Sunnie would love me for me.�
�Hello!� He hit Nickolas upside the head and Nickolas just looked at him. �If Sunn only wanted money she could�ve stayed with Brad or even Howie. But she chose you, because she loves you.�
�Don�t even start with Howie. I have enough to deal with right now with Brad.�
�Sorry.�
�Nicky,� Sunshine interrupted and the two guys looked. �Can we talk?�
�Sure you guys can,� Brian replied. �I�ll just go inside.� He walked inside and closed the doors behind him.
�What�s up?� Nickolas asked, as Sunshine stepped in front of him. She just smiled and then kissed him. Nickolas kissed her in return and after the kiss asked, �What was that for?�
�To show I�m sorry for the way I acted in there. I didn�t mean to behave the way I did.�
�I�m not mad at you. I love you.�
�And I love you. It�s just that you make me mad with your jealous behavior.� He went to speak, but she stopped him. �I don�t want Brad or Howie or anybody. I only want you.�
�Seriously?�
�Have I ever lied to you?�
�Since February or since we first met?� Sunshine glared at him. �I�ll plead the fifth.�
�Funny.�
�I�m sorry for being jealous. I�m just afraid that I�m going to lose you.�
�You�re not so stop worrying. I�m not going anywhere. I plan on sticking around for a very long time to come.�
�I�m glad.�
�Can we go inside and enjoy our engagement party?�
�Not yet?�

�Because I want to do this first�� He pulled her closer and began kissing her. �The party can wait.� Sunshine didn�t say anything, as they continued kissing.
For about a minute they kissed until they were interrupted by Madeline, �Excuse me.�
�Go away, Maddie,� Sunshine said to her sister, as she continued kissing Nickolas.
Madeline cleared her throat and Sunshine and Nickolas looked at her. �Alex and Des are here. They want everyone inside, because they got some big news.� Nickolas and Sunshine looked at each other. �Now.�
�Alright, we�re coming,� Sunshine said and Madeline went back inside. �She needs something to keep her occupied. I need to talk to Nick, because it�s obvious he�s not doing his job...neither is DJ.�
Nickolas chuckled, as they went inside and saw Alexander and Destiny still at the door. Everyone just looked at them and Kevin asked, �What is this about you two?�
�Nick and Sunn,� Alexander began, as Destiny held the camcorder; filming everyone, �we know this is your day, but since ya�ll are here we want to share our news.�
�What news?� Brian questioned.
�Just listen,� Destiny said.
�On July 29, 2005, Destiny and I went to Las Vegas,� Alexander started again, �and declared our love.� Everyone stared at them not saying a word. �We got married.�
�What?� everyone asked simultaneously in shock.
�Yes,� Destiny said. �We got married and were in Puerto Rico for the past week on our honeymoon.�
�You�re joking, right?� Sunshine wanted to know.
�We�re as serious as the Pope,� Alexander replied, as they held up their hands to show the wedding bands.
They all stayed silent for a moment then began talking at once. Alexander and Destiny just looked at each other and smiled. They kissed and Destiny said to everyone, �Don�t get too excited yet, because I got some more news. News Alex doesn�t even know yet.� Alexander looked at her surprised and she put the camera on him. �I�ve known this news for the past month and I was waiting for the perfect moment. I think now is the right time since we�re all together.�
�Hurry up!� Christopher Kirkpatrick of NSync yelled.
�Calm down,� Destiny said. �This stuff takes time.� She looked at Alexander again, �Honey this may come as a surprise, but�I�m two months pregnant.�
�Come again,� Alexander said, as there were gasps.
�Two months today actually.� She smiled.
No one said anything for the longest time. Alexander stood there in chick staring at Destiny. She waited for someone to say something, but no one knew what to say. After almost five minutes of silence, Alexander finally said, �I�m going to be a daddy?�
�Yes; ain�t that wonderful?�
�Uh�yeah. That�s so wonderful. I can�t believe it.� He pulled Destiny to him and kissed her. He looked at the crowd and yelled, �I�m going to be a daddy! I�m going to be a daddy!� Everyone started clapping and cheering, as Alexander said to Destiny, �Baby, I love you.�
�I love you.� They kissed.
After the kiss, Kevin said, �So this can be both an engagement party and reception.�
�Sounds good,� Josephine agreed.
�Let the partying begin,� Alexander yelled picking Destiny up and going down to the crowd.
Everyone started congratulating Alexander and Destiny and forgot about the engagement party. Nickolas and Sunshine congratulated them and then left the crowd; with Sunshine disappointed. No one seemed to notice they were gone and continued with the festivities.
