�So you going to Kev�s for movie night?� Danielle asked.
�I don�t know,� Sunshine replied. �Who thought of that anyway?�
�Venus.�
�Should�ve known.�
�Nick�s going to be there.� Sunshine didn�t say anything, as she got in the refrigerator. �I know you want to see him.�
Sunshine just smiled, as she got the lettuce. Without looking at Danielle, she asked, �Are you sure you don�t want a sandwich?��
�I�m fine. I ate at Brian�s.�
�I haven�t eaten anything all day and I�m starving.�
�Why didn�t you eat?�
�I was busy. It�s not like I�m pregnant or anything.�
�Are you sure?� Sunshine just gave her a weird look. �I know about that little rendezvous in Nick�s kitchen.�
�How�d you find out?�
�Josephine of course.� Sunshine shook her head. �Are you sure you�re not?�
�Yes; I already got checked.�
�So you went to the doc and what?�
�And nothing.� She sat at the table with Danielle and took a bite of her sandwich. �I missed my last one and I�m late. I panicked. They did some tests and I�m not pregnant.�
�You�re lucky.� Sunshine just looked at her. �If you were I�d go find Nick and cut his dick off.�
�I wouldn�t leave you anywhere near him.� She took another bite. �You leave your hands off Nick�s dick or I�ll go tell Brian.�
�You wouldn�t.�
�Try me.�
�You�re still in love with Nick, aren�t you?�
�Yes I am. I�ll never stop loving him. He�s a huge part of my life.�
�So you going to tell me what happened last night?�
�What do ya mean?�
�I know you went to Nick�s last night.�
Sunshine looked at her surprised. �What do you mean? I never went to Nick�s.�
�I over heard Brian talking on the phone earlier and he mentioned your name.�
�How do you know it was Nicky?�
�Because I answered the phone.� Sunshine lowered her head and smiled. �You still going to deny it?�
�So what if I did. It�s no one�s business.�
�From the way it sounded it went rather well.�
�Maybe.�
�What happened?�
�We talked. He didn�t tell me why he broke it off though. I guess it doesn�t matter right now, because I know he still cares about me and loves me.�
�How so?�
�That�s none of your business.�
�You don�t need to be so grouchy.�
�Well I�m tired of everyone getting all up in mine and Nick�s business. If we wanted ya�ll to know every little detail of what goes on with us then we would say and do every little detail in front of you. I�m just sick of everyone�s shit. It�s a need to know basis only and ya�ll don�t need to know.� Danielle just looked at her and said nothing. �He did rescue me from drowning last night.�
�What?�
�I was walking the beach, got a little close to the water, and the waves knocked me down. I was lying there and heard Nick call my name then next thing I know I was picked up and carried back to dry land.�
�He was rescuing you.�
�It was cute. I could see the worry in his eyes when he put me down. He even said he wasn�t going to leave me die on him.�
�Awe.�
�We did almost kiss, but his cell rang and of course he answered it.�
�That stupid schmuck.�
�He�s not stupid or a schmuck. He�s highly intelligent�at most things.�
�Did you stick around?�
�No I left.� Danielle didn�t say anything. �I was very disappointed when he didn�t come after me.�
�You wanted him to.�
�Very much so.�
�He really loves you.�
�I know.� She got up. �But there�s still something between us and I wish I knew what. Do you know?�
Danielle didn�t say anything as she remembered Nickolas telling her it was Bradley. She looked at Sunshine, whose smile faded, and got up. She walked over to her and said, �I don�t know what it is. I�m sorry.�
�It hurts not knowing, ya know, because I can�t find a way to make it up to him. Telling him over and over I love only him ain�t working. I�m so ready to just beat it out of him.�
�Don�t turn to violence, Sunn. It doesn�t work. Just think of happy times like last night.�
�Last night was great. Being in Nick�s arms just brought the rush back. It felt so good. I wanted history to repeat itself.�
�That�s great. You guys made progress.�
�I just hope Nicky felt the same way.�
�Definitely. He wants only you.� Sunshine smiled. �But I have to go. I have errands to run. I�ll see ya tonight.�
�Maybe.�
�Ok; later.�

Sunshine just stood there in the kitchen thinking. How wonderful it was last night to see Nickolas. She really wanted him back in her life. It was up to Nickolas though. She wasn�t going to push him into it. But it was hard for her not to. She wasn�t going to though. She was going to let time take its course.

�Is Nick coming?� Kevin asked later that night, as they all sat at his house and got ready for movie night.
�I don�t know,� Brian replied.
�What about Sunn?� Venus asked.
�Who knows?� Danielle said.
�Well, we�re starting without them,� Kevin stated putting a movie in the DVD player.
�They�re probably making up,� Brian blurted out.
�On the beach,� Danielle added smiling.
�What do ya mean?� Josephine wanted to know.
�Just that they were together last night,� Danielle replied still smiling.
�Pass the popcorn and fill us in,� Destiny stated, as Howard gave her a bowl of popcorn.
�It�s like this,� Brian began and then filled them in on the conversation he had with Nickolas earlier. When he was done, Danielle told them the conversation she had with Sunshine. When they both were finished everyone just sat there. �It went great last night.�
�They probably did more than they�re saying,� Alexander smirked.
�Sunn was pretty clear about what happened,� Danielle said.
�Even if they did,� Kevin started, �it�s none of our business. Their personal life should remain private. Would you like people to know you�re having sex, Alex?�
�You already do,� Alexander answered putting his hand on Destiny�s stomach. She smiled and they kissed.
�Not here, please,� Howard groaned.
�Anyway,� Josephine agreed and looked at Howard.
�What movie are we watching?� Danielle asked.
��The Beach�,� Venus replied.
�Cool,� the girls said in unison and Destiny added, �she just wants to see Leo.� Venus smiled, as Kevin pushed play and everyone got quiet.
