Sunshine sat in her trailer and talked to Danielle. Danielle was going on about something, but Sunshine really wasn�t paying any attention to her. She had other things on her mind; like the way she and Nickolas left each other back in December. She didn�t realize how much she was going to miss him until she got back to South Dakota. She really did love him, but in all reality none of her friends could see that. The only one that could was Bradley. And that�s why they broke up. God she missed Bradley too. She loved him too. She wasn�t sure if she loved Bradley more than Nickolas or less than Nickolas or just the same as Nickolas. She couldn�t decide which and it drove her nuts.
�So when are you getting home?� Danielle asked interrupting her thoughts.
�Um, in two weeks,� Sunshine replied. �Well, hopefully. We�re shooting the last couple scenes and the make up has to be right or the director ain�t happy. The scene we�re doing now is all bloody and cool stuff like that.�
�Speaking of which,� Danielle said. �Kevin and I went and saw your first movie. It was really good. You actually kissed someone other than Nick.� They laughed.
�I told ya I would,� Sunshine said. �And in this movie I kiss Ryan Phillippe and it feels like it�s through the whole movie.�
�Cool. So what are you going to do next?�
�I don�t know. I�m reading a couple scripts now, but none are really catching my attention. Maybe if I read them a second time something will catch me. I do have some press and shit to do.�
�Sounds fun.�
�Oh yeah. Especially when they learn I know the BSB and that�s all they ask me about.�
�Really?�
�Yeah; that�s what my first interview was all about. Didn�t ya read it?�
�Can�t say that I did.�
�I didn�t either, because I already knew what it was going to be about, ya know.�
�Yeah. So�anyway�the girls and I are going to Europe, the last week of April, to surprise the guys. Do you want to come with? Please say yes.�
�I don�t know.�
�Because of what happened between you and Nick at Christmas time.�
�Kind of and I�ve been working my ass off the past couple months on little sleep and I just want to sleep.�
�I understand, but you can rest in Europe.� Sunshine sighed. �What?�
�And besides, Nick and I made plans to get together when I was done with the movie.�
�And you�re afraid he still might think you are if you go over.�
�You know me too well.�
�Give it some thought and let me know if you�re going to go with us.�
�Yeah.�
�Listen, Sunnie Jo, I have to go or I�ll be late for work. I�ll see ya later.�
�Bye.� Sunshine turned off her phone and sat there a moment thinking before her phone beeped. She picked it up and lifted the faceplate to reveal a picture of the sun; sent from Nickolas.
She smiled and heard, �I miss you, Sweets.�
�I miss you too.� She sighed and there was a knock at the door. She looked and saw one of the Olsen�s standing there. �Uh, hey�� She just looked at her closely. �Ashley?�
�Mary-Kate.�
�I knew that. I was just testing.� They laughed. �What�s up?�
�Nothing. Ash is on the phone with her boyfriend and Ryan�s talking to Reese and everyone else is busy.�
�I�m not.�
�Me either.� They laughed.
�Come on in.�
�Thanks.� Mary-Kate walked in and sat at the little table with Sunshine.
�So I don�t want this movie to end.�
�Why not?�
�Because I love working with you guys. I loved working with Jonathan and Julia too, but ya�ll are so great.� Mary-Kate smiled. �So whatcha doing next after this?�
�Going back to school.�
�Cool.�
�You?�
�Press most likely.� They laughed. �Plus I got a bunch of scripts to read and see if any interest me. I don�t know though. I mean they�re all good, but they�re basically lovey dovey stuff and I really don�t want to do any of that right now, ya know.� Mary-Kate nodded. �I like action more than I like romance.�
�No romance in your life?�
�Actually yeah, but too much romance. I�m just sick of it all right now, ya know. I could go without it a few years. I�d be happy with that.� They laughed. �Any romance in your life?�
�No.�
�Keep it that way. All guys do is mess ya up and make your life so complicated and confusing. They also break your heart by dating your best friend too.� Mary-Kate just looked at her. �I mean it�s nice other than that. It just sucks when you get your heart broken.�
�I never really had my heartbroken.�
�Good, ya don�t want to.�
�Who�s the guy if ya don�t mind my asking?� Sunshine looked at her. �If ya want to share.�
�Um�Nick�Carter.�
�Oh.�
�We dated for a couple months awhile back and we�re still into each other, but he�s dating one of my best friends at the moment and I hate it.�
�Did ya tell him?�
�Not in so many words, but I was hoping he�d get the hint, ya know. I don�t think he has though.�
�Some guys are complete idiots.�
�Yeah, but Nick�s a smart guy and I just don�t understand why he�s stupid when it comes to the way I feel. I don�t know if he actually doesn�t get it or if he�s just acting, because he�s a guy and has to keep up with that badass image he thinks he has.�
�Maybe one day he�ll figure it out.�
�I hope so.� They laughed, as there was a knock and they looked to see Ashley. �Hey, come on in.�
�Thanks,� Ashley said stepping inside and sitting beside her sister. �I�m supposed to gather everyone up for make-up, but they can wait a few minutes.�
�Yeah,� Sunshine and Mary-Kate said and then added, �We were just talking about how much men suck.�
�Not all men,� Ashley said.
�Don�t even think about telling me that your boyfriend is perfect and all that other shit,� Sunshine said. �I won�t believe it, because there is no perfect man.� They laughed.
�Ladies, c�mon,� Ryan said peeking into the trailer. �They�re all waiting.�
�We�re coming,� Sunshine said. �Don�t get your panties in a bunch.� The girls laughed and Ryan just looked at them, as they got up and went outside. �Men are so impatient.�
�Yeah,� Mary-Kate agreed, as they continued laughing and followed Ryan to the makeup trailer.
