�Alex,� Venus began, �I�m sorry about last night. I just got freaked for some strange reason.�
�Don�t worry about it, V,� Alexander said. �It�s fine. I think it finally opened are eyes to show us that we�ve been concentrating on the whole sex part of our relationship instead of the important stuff. I�m cool with it.�
�I love you and I want the sex,� Venus stated. �I just don�t know what happened last night. One minute I was ready for it then the next I just freaked out.�
�It�s all right. You don�t need to apologize. I know you love me and I love you. Sex isn�t the reason I�m going out with you so you don�t need to worry about it. I�m happy with our relationship and the way it�s going and I don�t care if we hump all the way to our graves or not.� She chuckled.
�Really?�
�Really.� He kissed her. �Sex is not the key to a lasting relationship.�
Venus smiled and said, �Well, I�m sorry for getting you all excited last night.�
�I�m excited whenever I�m around you.�
�Is that so?� She pushed him back on the sofa and straddled him.
�Oh yeah.�
�I�m glad I make at least one person excited.� Alexander pulled her face down to his and kissed her just as Destiny walked in.
�Don�t mind me,� Destiny said interrupting them. �I�m just here to get a movie then I�m heading to Howie�s. Just act like I�m not here and go about your business.� She turned and looked at the movies and under her breath said, �If only that was me with him right now.� She got the movie she wanted and before leaving the room she quickly looked at Alexander and smiled. He smiled in return and then Destiny walked out.
Alexander looked at Venus and said, �Where were we?�
�She knows how to ruin a good moment between us,� Venus complained.
�Just forget about her and concentrate on us.� He smiled and gave her his puppy dog eyes. �Please.�
�I can definitely do that.� She smiled and he kissed her again this time with no interruptions.

�Danielle,� Kevin began, �how about I buy you a bigger place?�
�This place is big enough for me,� Danielle replied. �Besides, I really like it here. Why�d you suggest it anyway?�
�No reason really,� Kevin said. �I just thought you�d like something newer.�
�This place is new. It was built about six months before I moved in. All the places weren�t rented so I got one. Not only is it close to Sunnie Jo�s, but it�s new and I am the first to live in it. Which is cool.� She smiled. �But thanks for offering. You already buy me enough things. I don�t need anything else, besides you.�
�And I just need you.� They kissed.
�I have an idea, why don�t we order pizza and watch a movie. That way it can just be the two of us. I�ll lock the door and unplug the phone then there�ll be no interruptions.� She smiled and kissed him again.
�Then I�m game.�
�I was hoping you�d say that.� She picked up the phone and handed it to Kevin. �Then you order the pizza and I�ll quick run down to V�s and get my �Pretty Woman� from her since she had it for a hundred years.� They laughed. I�ll be right back so don�t miss me too much.�
�I�ll try not to.� She gave Kevin a kiss then headed for the door, as there was a knock.
�I�ll send them away.� Kevin just nodded and got on the phone, as Danielle opened the door to Sunshine. �Sunnie Jo.�
�Hey, Dan,� Sunshine said.
�Come in,� Danielle said. �So what�s up?�
�Nothing,� Sunshine replied. �I was in the mood for some company besides Josephine and Nickolas.�
�Oh,� Danielle said.
�And I�m interrupting,� Sunshine said for her.
�Well we were just going to get some pizza and watch a vid,� Kevin said. �No, I said one large meat lovers to be delivered.�
�And it�s quality time,� Sunshine said. �I understand so I�ll go.� She opened the door and walked out, closing the door.
Danielle looked at Kevin, as he argued with the pizza guy and then went out the door after Sunshine. �Sunshine.� Sunshine just ignored her and got on the elevator. Danielle quickly ran over and got on before the doors shut. �You can join us.�
�No thanks,� Sunshine declined the invite. �I�ll just go back home and watch my roommate and the man I�m in love with be all over each other. She�s so close to being thrown out the door and I�m not going to regret it.�
�What�s going on?�
�Besides the fact that she has no respect�nothing.�
�Don�t lie.�
�Plus you guys don�t want to hang out anymore. It can�t be just us girls. You�re always with the guys.�
�So come hang with me and Kev.�
�No thanks. I�m not in the mood to be the third wheel.�
�What about Brad?�
�He�s in the studio with the guys working on some new LFO tunes.� Danielle didn�t say anything and the doors opened. �See ya around, Dan.� Sunshine got off and Danielle watched her walk away, as the doors closed.

Brian sat with Destiny and Howard, at a local coffee house, and listened to poetry readers. The guy up wasn�t really that interesting and they all looked at each other and made faces, trying to hold in their laughter. They just shook their heads and prayed to God that he would soon end. After another five minutes the same guy continued his poem and the three of them sighed disgustedly at the same time.
�I thought this was a poetry reading and not one of those one man plays,� Destiny said.
�I thought the same thing,� Brian said. �Apparently he didn�t read the sign on the door.� They laughed silently. �Do ya guys want another cappuccino?�
�Yeah,� Howard said. �We�re going to need something to keep us awake if we want to stay until closing.�
�I�ll have another too,� Destiny said.
�Alrighty then,� Brian said in his best Ace Venture and picked up their cups and walked away. He walked to the counter and put the cups on the surface. �I need three refills.�
�Coming right up, man,� the guy said.
�Is this guy lame or what?� someone asked and Brian looked to see a beautiful blonde and he smiled.
�Yes he is,� Brian replied and the girl looked at him and he continued smiling, as she smiled. �I know you.�
�And I know you.� She extended her hand. �Leighanne Wallace.�
�Brian Littrell.� They shook hands.
�I was in your videos for �As Long As You Love Me� and �I�ll Never Break Your Heart�.�
�Yes you were. How�s it going?�
�Good. How about yourself?�
�It was going good until this guy came out.� They laughed. �I think he forgot where he was.�
�Something like that.�
�Are you here by yourself?�
�I actually came with a friend, but she had to go. You?�
�I�m here with Howie and his girlfriend.�
�Here ya go, Buddy,� the guy said.
�Thanks, man,� Brian said and looking at Leighanne. �Would you like to join us? I�m sure Howie and Des won�t mind.�
�If I�m not going to be intruding,� Leighanne said.
�Of course not,� Brian said. �Come on.� He picked up the cups and they walked back to his table where Howard and Destiny were waiting. �Hey, D, you remember Leighanne don�t ya?�
�Yeah,� Howard said, as they shook. �This is Destiny.�
�Hi,� the two women said, as they shook.
�Have a seat,� Howard said.
�Thank you,� Leighanne said sitting down in the extra chair. �It�s been awhile.�
�Yes it has,� Brian agreed. �What? Like six years?�
�Something like that,� Howard agreed. �How have ya been?�
�Good,� Leighanne said. �I�ve been busy.�
�As have we,� Howard said and Destiny elbowed him. �What?�
�Quit flirting while your girlfriend�s sitting here,� Destiny warned and they laughed. �Or you�ll be walking home. Understood?�
�It�s my car, Sweetheart,� Howard said.
�Not for long,� Destiny said and they laughed again.
�Get off the stage!� someone yelled and they looked, as tomatoes were thrown at the poet. They looked at each other and started laughing, as did everyone else.
