Sunshine turned around and saw Nickolas standing there and she said, �Nick, I didn�t hear you.�
�I�m sorry I scared you.� She got up.

�It was very sweet of you.� Nickolas got back up and looked at her.

Sunshine looked at him as she took the rose. She didn�t want to say the wrong thing to hurt his feelings more. She waited a minute then said, �Who said there�s a but this time?� He looked at her. �There ain�t.�
�Don�t lie to me, Sunnie.� They looked at each other. �I know there�s a but.�
She sighed and said, �For how sweet it is I just can�t get back together with you right now.� Nickolas lowered his head then turned from her. �Nick, I�m not saying it to hurt you. I�m just telling you the truth. That�s what you want from me. I do want to be with you, but nows not the time.�
�When will be the time, Sunnie? You said the same thing a year and a half ago.� He looked at her. �You�re the best thing that came into my life. I�m in love with you, but I�m getting this feeling that you don�t want to be with me and that you never wanted to be with me. Please tell me what it is I�m doing wrong and I�ll fix it just so we can be together.�
�It�s not you, Nick, it�s me. I don�t want to fall in love and I don�t really want you to fall in love with me even though that�s been my dream since I saw you.�
�Sunnie, you are falling in love with me. Why don�t you want to?�
�I don�t know.� She looked out to the ocean. �I don�t want to be the one that gets hurt, ya know. I don�t want to fall in love, but you�re all I ever think about. Day and night it�s you on my mind no matter what I do. Trust me, Nick, I want to be with you just as much as you want to be with me.�
�But now�s not the time.�
�I�m sorry. I know how much this is hurting you, because it�s hurting me too.�
�Then why are you doing it? Why are you breaking my heart?�
�Because you broke mine.� Nickolas just looked at her. �By pushing me away when I needed you the most.�
They looked at each other and Nickolas said, �I�m sorry.� Sunshine walked to him and put her arms around him and he put his arms around her and they hugged. �I�m really truly sorry.�
�So am I.� They stayed like that for the next minute or so until Sunshine left him go. Nickolas didn�t leave her go, but wiped the tears from her eyes. They stared at each other and the whole world disappeared. Nickolas outlined Sunshine�s face with his fingers. He wiped another tear from her eye and then kissed her. She kissed him in return and put her arms around him again. They kissed a few minutes until Sunshine backed away. �I�m sorry.�
�No I�m sorry. I shouldn�t have kissed you. It was wrong.�
�Don�t apologize. It was nice.�
�I�m still sorry.� They looked at each other.
�Nick, I have to go.� She started walking away.
�Of course.� He sighed and watched her.
Sunshine didn�t walk far when she stopped and turned around. She watched Nickolas sit down and waited a second before walking back to him. She knelt behind him and stuck her arms around his neck. Nickolas looked at her and she smiled. Nickolas gave a little smile himself and then Sunshine kissed him.

�This is nice,� Sunshine said wrapping Nickolas� arms tighter around her, as they sat on the beach wrapped in a blanket. �I like this.�

�Good.� She kissed him again then looked back to the ocean. She sat there thinking a few minutes then looked at Nickolas again. He looked at her and she looked back at the ocean. She waited another few minutes then looked at Nickolas again and smiled.
�What?� She just kissed him and he kissed her in return. She took her one hand through his hair, as he slipped his tongue into her mouth. They played around with their tongues a few minutes then Sunshine pushed him back and straddled him. �What are you doing?� She just smiled and leaned down to kiss his chest. �I am.� They just looked at each other and Nickolas saw the passion and eagerness in her eyes. He kissed her again and undid her brassiere like she requested. She left him take it off her and she just smiled, as he rolled them over so he was on top. They looked at each other a few moments not doing anything or saying anything. �So�is this the part where you suck my boobies and harden my nipples and get me all hot and horny.� Nickolas shook his head and started laughing while burying his face in her shoulder, as she laughed. �I�m sorry.
