�Yeah,� Sunshine agreed leaning on the banister and Nickolas stood beside her. Right away they could feel the warmth from the others body and it made them want each other even more. �The stars make it beautiful.�
�Yeah,� Nickolas agreed.
They stood there silent for a few minutes just looking out to the night, before Sunshine said, �I really enjoyed your concert.�
�Thanks,� Nickolas said. �Was there a favorite part?�
�Not really. I enjoyed the whole show. It was very exciting.�
�I�m glad you found it exciting. It means a lot to know that our fans enjoy themselves.�
�Who said I was a fan?�
�You�re not?�
�Mmm�� She didn�t finish as, they looked at each other. �Wouldn�t you love to know?�
�You�re going to make me find out the hard way, aren�t ya?�
�Hell yeah.�
�Great.� She chuckled and she looked at him, as he looked away. �So�where are you from anyway?�
�Pennsylvania, but I hate it there.�

�Because it is. Well where I live there is nothing to do and ya have to drive like a million miles to the cool places and it�s just a waste of gas, ya know.�
�Well ya drove all the way here.�
�It was worth it though.� They looked at each other and she smiled. �We were bored out of our minds so we planned this road trip after school and here we are.�
�Didn�t your parents care?�
�They couldn�t wait to get rid of us. They even forked over some money for this trip just to get us out of their hair.� She laughed. �They love us so don�t get me wrong. I�m sure you know how it is with parents and being a young adult yourself.�
�Yeah kind of.�
�Ya just want that freedom and not want your parents around�or your kids.�
�My family actually loves having me around.�
�Well you�re hardly ever home so yeah.�
�I guess ya got a point, but when I am home at times I just want to be left alone so I can catch up on my sleep.� She looked at him. �Plus I like to have some alone time with my girlfriend, ya know.� She continued looking at him.
�Do�you�have�a�girlfriend?� He looked at her surprised by her question. �Just wondering.� For future reference, she thought.
�Do you have a boyfriend?� She looked at him. �Just wondering.� For future reference, he thought.
�No.� He looked at her. �Just answering.� He nodded.

�Excuse me?�
�No I don�t have a girlfriend.� She continued looking at him. �I broke it off probably about a year or so ago. I don�t remember.�
�What was her name?� He looked at her again. �Just curious.�
�Her name was Sapphire.�
�Were you in love?�
�Don�t you think we�re getting a little personal now?�
�Sorry.� She sighed and looked back out to the night. �Didn�t mean to pry. I was just trying to make conversation.� He looked at her and grinned.
�Are you upset?�
She looked at him surprised and said, �Yes I�m upset. I was just trying to make conversation and you get huffy right away.�
�It was a bad relationship and I don�t like talking about it.�
�Then that�s all ya had to say. You didn�t have to get all macho or whatever and say �don�t you think we�re getting a little personal now�. A simple �I don�t like talking about it� would have done nicely.�
�You�re cute when you�re mad.� He smiled and she just looked at him. They stood there another minute in silence and looking at each other. Sunshine got a chill and crossed her arms, as she looked away from him. �You should be wearing a jacket.�
�Well it was so nice when we left that we left our jackets at the motel.� Nickolas grinned and put his arms around her.
�Better?�
She looked at him and said, �You don�t have to��
�Well I wanted to.�
�Thanks.� She turned to face him.
�I wouldn�t want ya to catch cold.� They looked at each other.
�Nick.�
�Yes.�
�Can I��
�Sunn, we�re leaving,� Danielle interrupted them and stopping in her tracks, as she saw her friend in Nickolas� arms. �So sweet, but let�s go.�
�Right,� Sunshine said not taking her gaze off Nickolas. �I�m coming.�
�Alright,� Danielle said going back inside.
�What�d you want to ask me?� Nickolas asked and Sunshine just continued looking at him a few more minutes.
Nickolas started leaning towards her mouth, as Danielle interrupted again, �Sunn, let�s go.�
�Right,� Sunshine said biting her bottom lip while looking at Nickolas. �Some other time. I have to go.� She forced herself from Nickolas� hold, but just stood there.
�Can you at least tell me where you�re staying?� Nickolas asked and Sunshine looked at him and smiled.
�Northern Star Motel,� Sunshine replied. �Room 210 and 211.�
�Thanks,� Nickolas said smiling. �What room are you in?�
�210.�
�Thanks.� They both smiled.
�Um, it�s a couple miles away from the McDonald�s we were at. Ya can�t miss it, because it�s got a big star on the roof.� He nodded and she started walking to the door, but stopped and looked at him again. �Thanks.�
�For what?� She smiled and took something from her pocket and held it up. �Right.�
�It�s cute.� He smiled.
�You�re welcome.�
�I think I�ll frame it.�
�You do that.� They smiled. �Call anytime.� She nodded and went to go in, but stopped and looked at him again. �What?�
�Thanks�for keeping me warm.�
�You�re welcome.� He smiled.
�Sunshine Josephine Robinson,� Destiny practically yelled. �Get your ass moving.�
�I�m coming,� Sunshine said still looking at Nickolas. �Thanks.� She gave him one last smile and went inside.
�Anytime,� Nickolas said to the air and he smiled.
