�So, Sunn,� Danielle began, �do you still want to be famous?�
�Yeah,� Sunshine said smiling. �I think it�s pretty cool to a have positive impact on someone�s life and have them look up to ya. Whitney Houston is my role model and she�s had a positive impact on my life and I want to have that same impact on someone else�s life, ya know.� She smiled.
�You�re whacked,� Danielle said.
�I think you already have a positive impact on someone�s life,� Destiny said grinning.
�Huh?� Sunshine said.
�One Mr. Carter,� Destiny replied and Sunshine looked at him, as he smiled at her. �If I ain�t mistaken I think he wants to get into your pants.�
�Whatever,� Sunshine said rolling her eyes and they laughed, as the guys walked over to them.
�Thanks for waiting,� Kevin said.
�No problem,� Destiny replied. �It was worth it.�
�Des!� Danielle said. �She speaks before she thinks. She meant nothing by it.�
�Speak for yourself,� Destiny said.
�That�s alright,� Kevin said. �Shall we go up?�
�I guess,� the girls said.
�Come on,� Kevin said, as they all got on the elevator.
They rode up to the fifteenth floor where the Boys were staying for a few days. They turned right and walked to the end of the hall where Alexander opened the door. He left the girls in first and then they followed them inside. The girls just stood at the door and they looked around the room.
�Are you ladies thirsty?� Alexander asked.
�What do ya have?� Destiny asked in return, as Nickolas, Brian, and Howard sat down and looked at the women who joined them.
�Whatever ya want,� Kevin replied walking over to the mini bar.
�I�ll have a strawberry daiquiri,� Sunshine stated, as they all just looked at her. �What?� They all shook their heads and she walked over to the mini bar where Alexander and Kevin were and slammed her hand on the counter top. �Whiskey, straight up, bartender.�
�Aren�t you a little young?� Kevin stated raising an eyebrow.
�Does this look a face that cares?� Sunshine asked him. �You asked me what I wanted to drink and I told you; Whiskey.�
�She only drinks whiskey when she�s nervous,� Josephine pointed out.
�It calms me down,� Sunshine said defending herself.
�Why are ya nervous?� Brian asked and Sunshine looked at him.
�Because I am,� Sunshine said.
�We have no whiskey,� Alexander stated.
�Damn,� Sunshine said. �Then what do you have?�
Alexander looked and said, �Water, soda, water�oh wait, we have Scotch.�
�That�ll work,� Sunshine said.
�Alright,� Alexander said getting a glass. He went to fill it up and Kevin stopped him.
�What?� Sunshine said.
�You�re not getting that,� Kevin said.
�Bite me,� Sunshine said grabbing the Scotch and glass from Alexander. She poured the Scotch in the glass and then drank it in one gulp. They all looked at her, as she put the glass down and made a face. �Ah, that was good.� She looked at the others. �What?�
�Nothing,� they all said.
�Would you ladies like some?� Sunshine asked.
�We�ll have water,� Venus replied.
�Loser,� Sunshine said.
�Well I�m going to go get a shower,� Nickolas said getting up and he and Sunshine looked at each other. �I�ll be back�maybe.� He continued looking at Sunshine and she bit her bottom lip and he gave her his sexy side smile. He walked to the door and Sunshine watched him, as he opened the door and walked out.
Venus stood by Sunshine and whispered, �Sunn, you�re going to make it obvious you want him so stop staring.�
�I wasn�t staring,� Sunshine lied.
�Whatever,� Venus said, as Kevin handed Venus her water and Sunshine poured herself another Scotch and drank it just like she did the first and Venus shook her head.
�So what�s it like being up on stage in front of all those people?� Destiny asked taking a seat by Brian.
�It�s really great,� Howard replied. �It�s amazing to know that all those people are there at our shows to see us and support us.�
�Don�t you get sick of all the constant traveling?� Danielle asked.
�It can get tiring sometimes,� Kevin said. �But we just thank God for where we are today.�
�I�ve always wanted to travel,� Sunshine said. �I want to see the world.�
�We know,� Josephine said. �We read that you guys buddy up when staying at hotels, but there�s one that�s solo. So who is it this time?�
�That�d be Nickolas,� Kevin said. �He volunteered to be solo. I think he wants his privacy right now.�
�To play his Nintendo,� Alexander snickered, as the others just looked at him. �I�m kidding. I think something�s bothering him.�
�Like what?� Howard asked. �It�s Nicky; he�s always in a good mood.� They laughed.
�So how long are you guys in Denver?� Sunshine asked.
�Until Friday,� Howard said. �How about you?�
�Um�� Josephine began, but interrupted.
�Until Friday,� Destiny replied.
�Cool,� Brian said.
�Uh, Destiny,� Sunshine began, �can we speak to you outside a moment?�
�What about?� Destiny asked.
�Outside,� Danielle said. �Now.� Josephine pushed Destiny to the balcony doors.
�We�ll be right back,� Sunshine said, as she closed the doors behind her after they were outside.
�What are you doing, Des?� Venus asked. �We need our money to get back home.�
�Not to stay at some cheap sleazy motel until Friday,� Josephine added.
�What�s your guy�s problem?� Destiny questioned. �Did you forget it�s the Backstreet Boys sitting in there and talking to us? I actually think I�m doing us a favor.�
�How�s that?� Sunshine asked.
�Think about it,� Destiny said. �It�s obvious they�re into us, so by staying here in Denver while they�re here they�ll want to get to know us more and will eventually ask us out. Duh!�
�And what if they don�t?� Sunshine asked.
�Then there goes half our money,� Danielle replied.
�But don�t you want to take that chance?� Destiny asked. �It�s not every day we get to hang with the BSB. Come on just this once, please.� The girls looked at each other and then in at the Boys. They looked at each other again and sighed.
�Fine,� Josephine said. �But if your little plan doesn�t work then it�s all on you.�
�Understood?� Venus questioned.
�Yeah,� Destiny answered. �I�ll take the blame, but it�ll be worth it in the end.�
�Good and you better hope so,� Sunshine said. They stood there a moment then looked back inside. They saw the Boys looking out at them and they just smiled and waved.
�Told ya they�re into us,� Destiny stated.
�Maybe,� Venus said, as Josephine opened the doors.
�It�s cold out here,� Josephine complained walking back inside with Destiny and Venus behind her. Sunshine and Danielle stayed outside on the balcony and talked.
�I knew it was a bad idea to bring Destiny along,� Sunshine said.
�Do you actually think we�d be standing on this balcony if Des wasn�t with?� Danielle asked. �She does whatever and doesn�t care.�
�Probably not,� Sunshine said. �And I was only kidding anyway.�
�At least she didn�t hear you say that,� Danielle said. �Which is good.�
�Don�t tell her I said it either,� Sunshine said, as they laughed. They just stood there for another fifteen minutes and talked and didn�t hear the door open.
�Hello,� Nickolas said startling the two girls and they looked at him. �Sorry.�
�That�s all right,� Danielle said. �If you�ll excuse me, I need a drink.� Sunshine and Nickolas watched Danielle go back inside and they looked at each other.
