�Sunshine and Danielle are out there in this and all you�re worried about is seeing your stupid boyfriend,� Josephine practically yelled. �I can�t believe you. Your boyfriend comes before your best friends. Something could�ve happened to them and you�re not the least worried.�
�I�m worried,� Destiny said, as a car went by.
�You look it,� Josephine replied.
�Girls!� Venus yelled. �Your fighting ain�t helping them. Will you just stop? Please.� There was a knock on the window and the three girls jumped and screamed. They looked out the window then Josephine opened the door.
�Do you ladies need a lift?� Brian asked.
�Brian,� Destiny said climbing over Josephine to get to him.
�No I really don�t want any kids in my lifetime,� Josephine replied sarcastically and getting out, as did Venus.
�There are only three of you,� Brian stated.
�Where are Sunnie and Dani?� Nickolas asked worried.
�They went to use the payphone to call you, but they�re not back yet,� Venus replied, as there was a noise in the distance. They all just stood there under the umbrellas a few moments then Sunshine and Danielle came running. They ran over to them and stopped.
Sunshine hugged Josephine and Danielle hugged Venus, as Sunshine said, �We�ve never been so happy to see you.�
�What�s wrong?� Josephine asked.
�We were almost picked up,� Danielle replied. �It was so scary.�
�I�m never coming to New York again,� Sunshine stated.
�Come here,� Kevin said and Josephine slapped him.
�I got this under control,� Josephine said and Nickolas held back a smile. �It�s all over. You don�t need to be afraid anymore.�
�And ya�ll wonder why I hate New York,� Sunshine said. �Ya just got your answer.�
�I hate it now too,� Danielle said.
�We better go,� Alexander said, as Sunshine left Josephine go and Alexander took her hand. �We have a show to get ready for.�
�We�ll send someone back for the Durango,� Kevin said leading Sunshine to the bus.
�Wait,� Sunshine said. �We need to get our stuff.� The girls walked back to the Durango and they got their stuff. Sunshine went to walk away, but stopped again and got back in. Nickolas watched, as she rooted in the back. �Ah ha.� She rolled down the window some and put the white rag in and then rolled up the window again. She went to get out again, but stopped and made sure the back doors were locked. She got out and opened the front door, as she closed the back.
�Sunn, let�s go,� Kevin said.
�I�m coming,� Sunshine said looking at Nickolas and rolling her eyes. She reached over and locked the passenger door then locked the driver�s door. She went to close it, but stopped.
�Now what?� Nickolas asked.
�My keys,� Sunshine said getting them out of the ignition and then finally closing the door. She dropped the keys and Nickolas bent down and picked them up. He looked at the keychain and smiled, as he handed them to her. �My good luck charm.�
�A picture of me?�
�Hey, I won five-hundred in the lottery the other day and I never did before.�
�That�s ok, because I have a picture of you on my keys too.� She smiled and walked to the bus. Nickolas followed behind her and they got on, as the bus started moving.

�Sunn, you�re freezing,� Danielle said.
�I�m fine,� Sunshine said sniffling.
�Nick, ain�t she freezing,� Danielle said putting Sunshine�s hand in Nickolas�.
�Yeah she is,� Nickolas agreed, as he looked into Sunshine�s eyes.
�I told ya I�m fine,� Sunshine replied quickly pulling her hand from Nickolas� hand and got up. �I�m not cold anymore.� What a lie that was, she thought to herself, as she found another spot and sat down. Luckily for her, Josephine and Alexander were busy with there thing and Destiny and Brian with there�s and didn�t notice the tension between her and Nickolas. She wasn�t so lucky with Venus though, she saw everything.
Nickolas grabbed a blanket from his bunk and joined Sunshine and said, �Sunnie, you�re freezing and we can�t have you getting sick on Kevin.� He wrapped the blanket around her and they both just sat there.
Sunshine looked at him then said, �Or you?�
�What do ya mean?�
�You said you didn�t want me to get sick. Were you talking about you or Kevin?� Nickolas continued looking at her not saying a word. She already knew the answer, but wanted to hear it from him. She looked at him a few more seconds then turned to look out the window. �Thanks for the blanket and coming for us.�
�You�re welcome.� He looked at her and stopped himself from taking her in his arms and just kissing her in front of everyone.
�There�s nothing going on with Kevin so ya know.� They looked at each other. �He just thinks there is, but there�s not.�
�So why don�t ya tell him?�
She shrugged. �I guess it seems easier than breaking his heart.�
Nickolas pushed the wet hair from her face saying, �Kevin�s a big boy so I think he�ll be able to handle it.� She grinned and they just looked at each other.
Danielle watched them and shook her head, as Venus joined her and asked, �What�s going on with those two?�
�What two?� Danielle asked.
�Sunn and Nick,� Venus replied. �Don�t lie either.�
�It�s simple,� Danielle said. �Sunnie Jo likes Nick and Nick likes Sunnie Jo, but neither will tell the other. Ain�t that retarded?�
�Yeah; that�s the same thing that�s going on with Josie and Howie. I don�t see why they just don�t tell each other, it�ll make everyone�s life a whole lot easier. Howie actually asked me out, because he thinks he can�t have Josephine since she�s with Alex. I told him no of course.�
�Good.� She sighed. �Nick didn�t ask me out thank God. Even if he did I would�ve said no. I couldn�t do that to Sunn.�
�So why doesn�t she ask him?
�I don�t know. She said something about not wanting to break Kevin�s heart.� She shook her head. �Plus Kevin asked her out before she got a chance to ask Nick. Why about Howie? Why didn�t he ask my sister out?�
�Because she�s with Alex and he didn�t want to do that to his best friend.�
�These people make no sense at all.�
�I agree.�
�There she is,� Kevin interrupted, as he and Howard came to the back of the bus. Everyone looked and Kevin joined Nickolas and Sunshine. Kevin went to kiss Sunshine, but she turned her head and he got her cheek. �I was thinking about what you were doing and the only thing that didn�t come to mind was you and Nickolas having a conversation.�
�I can talk to whom ever I want to,� Sunshine rebutted.
�Why not, Kev?� Nickolas asked. �You afraid I might steal her from ya?� He got up as everyone laughed and moved to the front of the bus with Sunshine watching him.
Kevin sat in Nickolas� spot and Sunshine said, �I ain�t anyone�s to steal.�
�We�re here,� Brian said, as everyone looked. �I�m hungry so let�s eat.� They all got up.
�We�re sorry ya missed lunch,� Danielle apologized.
�We�ll make it up to ya,� Venus added, as they all got off the bus and went inside. �Just tell us what and when ya need it done.�
�You got yourself a deal,� Alexander said.
�How about we make you dinner the day after touring ends,� Josephine suggested.
�That sounds good,� Howard said looking at Josephine, as they all nodded in agreement.
�It sure does,� Kevin agreed. �We�ll let ya know what to make.� They walked into the �dining� area and Kevin asked, �Are you ladies hungry?�
�Definitely,� the girls said.
Sunshine went to walk over to the food table and Nickolas grabbed her. They looked at each other and he said, �Sit down and I�ll get ya something.�
�I can manage,� Sunshine said.
�I insist,� Nickolas said. �What would ya like?�
�Surprise me,� Sunshine said. �No kind of seafood. It makes me sick.�
�Okie dokie,� Nickolas said sitting her down and walking over to the food. Sunshine watched him and grinned. �There�s lots here girls, so eat up.�
�Yes father,� Sunshine said from her seat and they all looked at her. �We don�t want to disappoint and have you get mad and then beat us.� They all laughed, but Kevin just looked at her. �What?�
�Sunn wouldn�t mind if�� Destiny began, but Sunshine glared at her making her stop her sentence.
�You wouldn�t mind what?� Kevin asked.
�Nothing,� Sunshine said. �Ignore her.� Nickolas looked at her and smiled, as they all got there food and sat down to eat.
