Destiny started pumping gas into the Durango at a gas station in North Carolina when the Backstreet tour bus pulled up beside her. She paid no attention to it at first, but after she was done and walking to the store she realized who the bus belonged to.
Destiny found the four other girls inside at the register and said, �You�ll never guess who is outside.�
�Elvis,� Sunshine joked, as they all looked out the window. �Cool.�
�That means Brian�s out there,� Destiny said.
�Once upon a time there was a girl, named Destiny Rose Horowitz, that thought Brian Thomas Littrell looked like a werewolf,� Sunshine began, �but now she�s �in love� with him and thinks he�s so damn hot.�
�So,� Destiny said. �I can have a change of opinion.�
�Let�s go,� Josephine said. �I want to see Alex.�
They paid for their stuff and went outside, as the driver was coming in and he said, �They�re on the bus.�
�Thanks,� the girls said in unison.
They walked to the jeep and stuck their stuff in and then got on the bus. When they got on they noticed Howard, Alexander, and Brian in the front of the bus then heard arguing coming from the back. The three guys shook their heads and then saw the girls. Destiny greeted Brian with a kiss and Alexander walked over to Josephine and kissed her, as Howard watched in heartache.
�She�ll be yours one day,� Venus whispered to him, as more arguing came from the back.
�What�s going on back there?� Sunshine asked.
�Nicky lost his phone and he�s flipping out,� Howard replied. �Kevin didn�t make it any better when he started yelling at him.�
�Poor Nick,� Sunshine said and they looked at her, as her and Danielle started walking back. They walked through the bunks and met up with Nickolas. The three of them just stood there not moving or saying anything.
�You two are pathetic,� Danielle said turning around and walking away.
Nickolas and Sunshine looked at her then at each other, as Nickolas asked, �What was that all about?�
�How should I know?� Sunshine lied. �She�s your girlfriend.�
�No she�s not.�
�Right.� Sunshine knew Nickolas knew what was wrong with Danielle and vice versa, but neither said a word.
They continued looking at each other then Nickolas said, �Kevin�s back there.�
�Thanks,� Sunshine said. �But who said I wanted to see him.�
�Do you?�
�I need a perfectly good reason not to.�
�How good?�
�Very good.�
�Good as in I kiss you right now and not care about my friendship with Kevin, because your kisses are very tempting and they satisfy my hunger. Or good as in I get you alone, tell you how I feel exactly, and then make hot steamy passionate love to you all night.� Sunshine just looked at him loving the sound of his last suggestion. Hell even the first suggestion sounded good too. She wanted to kiss him again, but she couldn�t do it in front of Kevin. �I think both offers are very tempting. What do you think�Sweets?�
She smiled. �Yeah.�
�But I can�t do that to Kevin. He�s one of my best friends and I don�t want to ruin that.�
�And I don�t want to either.�
�So then what?�
�I don�t know.� They kept their gaze on each other, as a phone rang. �Is that yours?�
�I have no clue. I�m really not worried about it right now.�
�Maybe ya should.�
�If it�s important they�ll call back. If I find the damn thing I might answer it.�
�Right.� She sighed and looked at Kevin, who was on the phone and writing something down. �I did tell Kevin I wasn�t anyone�s to steal away.� She bit her bottom lip. �So I don�t think it�d matter any if we�d kiss right now or not.�
�Maybe not, but it�d still hurt Kevin.�
�What about us?� Nickolas went to get closer to her, but interrupted by the ringing phone again. �Maybe you should find your phone and get that.� He nodded and listened to the ring.
�It�s here somewhere.� He looked in his bunk and Sunshine watched, as it continued ringing. She listened for it herself and smiled. She looked in the bunk above her head and their it laid. She picked it up and tapped Nickolas with it. He looked at her and she held it up. �Thanks.�
�You�re welcome.� They looked at each other and Nickolas blocked her path. �Excuse me.�
�Right.� Nickolas sighed and moved slightly. It was just enough room for her to walk by and they brushed against each other. Sunshine looked at him and he watched her walk to the back. He watched, as Kevin went to kiss her, but she turned her head. He grinned and remembered the kiss he and Sunshine shared in the motel bathroom and how satisfying it was. He turned around and joined the others in front.
�Hey, Nick,� Destiny said. �Can you tell Sunn we need to get going?�
�Sure,� Nickolas said turning around again, as the others got off. �I don�t mind.� He rolled his eyes and started walking back, as Sunshine and Kevin started walking to the front.
All three of them stopped and Kevin asked, �Ain�t she beautiful?�
Sunshine looked at Nickolas waiting for an answer and he said, �Yes; very gorgeous.� Sunshine looked at him and smiled. �The girls are ready to go.�
�Thanks,� Sunshine said, as the three of them got off the bus. �You chica�s ready?�
�We have to go too,� Kevin said. �If we�re going to make it to Florida by tomorrow.�
�How about that?� Venus said. �We�re going to the same place.�
�You should follow,� Howard suggested.
�Alright,� Danielle said. �We will. We�ll probably get lost anyway.�
�Will not,� Sunshine said.
�With you driving we will,� Josephine said.
�When did I ever get us lost?� Sunshine asked.
�How about when we were going to Oklahoma and you made a wrong turn to Colorado,� Josephine said.
�It was the middle of the night and I was tired,� Sunshine reminded her. �Besides, wasn�t it worth it, because look who we met up with. I for one am thankful for that wrong turn I so �wrongfully� made.�
�I�m grateful,� Danielle said.
�Thank you,� Sunshine said. �You guys better get going though. We don�t want you to be late.�
�We�ll be right behind ya,� Destiny said, as her and Brian kissed again. �So don�t worry.�
�We won�t,� Alexander snickered. �Because we�ll be worrying about Brian.�
�Why�s that?� Brian asked.
�Because you�ll be lost thinking about Destiny,� Nickolas smirked.
�Exactly,� Alexander agreed.
�Let�s go,� Kevin said. �We have a show tomorrow.�
�We�ll be right behind ya,� Sunshine said. �So if ya ever get lonely just look out your back window and there we�ll be.�
�I just might do that,� Kevin said and Nickolas glared at him. �Let�s get going, because it looks like these people want to get gas and��
�They don�t look too happy,� Venus added.
The girls walked to the Durango and the Boys walked back to the bus. Destiny and Brian looked back at each other and Sunshine said, �Des, if ya want to go with Brian then go, but make sure it�s all right first.�
�She can come with,� Kevin said, as Destiny ran over to Brian and threw her arms around him.
�Kids,� Danielle said getting in the Durango. �I�ll never understand them.�
�If anyone else wants to ride along you�re more than welcome too,� Kevin said.
�Alright,� Josephine said, as her and Venus got their stuff and Destiny�s and joined the guys.
�Can you hurry it up!� someone yelled honking their horn. �I have places to go, things to see, and people to do!� He continued honking and the bus pulled away.
�Hey, Buddy, why don�t you honk that horn where the sun don�t shine!� Sunshine yelled back. �Or I�ll shove it somewhere you won�t like and won�t be able to pee for a year or get an erection�ever!� The guy didn�t say anything after that and Sunshine got in the Durango with Danielle looking at her. �What?� Danielle just shook her head and Sunshine pulled from the gas station and followed behind the bus.
