�Will you ladies be joining us in Iowa City?� Alexander asked hoping for a yes.
�That depends on how much money we have after we leave tomorrow morning,� Danielle said. �No thanks to Destiny.� Destiny just smiled.
�If not then we�ll try to catch ya in another town,� Destiny replied.
�I hope you definitely catch me,� Brian said giving Destiny a kiss.
�Why don�t ya go next door to your own room,� Sunshine said not even cracking a smile.
�What crawled up your ass?� Destiny asked giving Sunshine a disgusted look.
�Nothing,� Sunshine rebutted. �I�m just tired.�
�Sorry,� Destiny said, as Sunshine continued looking out the window.
�Josie, you�re awfully quiet,� Venus stated. �What gives?�
�No particular reason,� Josephine replied taking a quick glance at Howard and hoping nobody saw.
�She�s thinking of me,� Alexander smirked kissing Josephine�s cheek. �Aren�t ya?�
�Of course,� Josephine lied with a not so obvious fake smile. �I�m definitely thinking of you.�
�Told ya,� Alexander said, as everyone laughed.
�We better get going,� Howard interrupted. �If we want to make it by concert time.�
�Where�s the concert at?� Danielle asked. �In case we decide to stop by.�
�Iowa City,� Kevin answered. �The Carver Hakeye Arena.�
�Hope ya�s can stop by,� Nickolas said.
�If not,� Sunshine began, �we give our apologies now.�
�You�re forgiven,� Nickolas assured them, but looking directly at Sunshine. For a few seconds they both looked at each other without anyone realizing it.
�Anyway, you Boys better get going,� Sunshine said.
Kevin joined her at the window and said, �I hope to see ya soon.� Sunshine just nodded and Kevin kissed her cheek and hugged her, as she looked at Nickolas again. Nickolas glared at Kevin and Sunshine gave him a little grin.
�I�ll be seeing you later I�m sure,� Alexander said hugging Josephine then giving her a kiss.
�Walk me to the bus?� Brian asked, as he and Destiny got done kissing.
�Sure,� Destiny said, as they got up.
�Hey, Nick,� Danielle said interrupting his thoughts and glare. �Do ya mind if I call ya?�
�Um�I guess not,� Nickolas replied. �If ya want to.� He sighed. �It beats waiting around for Sunnie to call me. The only one she�ll be calling is Kevin.�
�Nick,� Danielle said, as they started to walk outside, �just remind yourself you kissed her first and when it comes to Sunnie Jo, no one even comes close to you, not even Kevin.� He looked at her. �If it makes ya feel any better, Sunshine doesn�t call anyone. Not even her boyfriends. She figures that if they really want to talk to her they can do the calling. I think that�s why her relationships never last.�
�That makes me feel so much better,� Nickolas said rolling his eyes, as they stopped. �Thanks for trying to help though.�
�No problem,� Danielle replied, as they hugged and Nickolas kissed her cheek.
Venus and Howard joined them, but Nickolas and Danielle walked away and Venus said, �Whatever that�s all about.�
�Who knows,� Howard said handing Venus a piece of paper. �Give me a call sometime if ya like. Ya know, just to talk or whatever.�
�Are you sure it�s me you want to call and not Josie?� Venus asked.
�I accepted the fact that she�s with Alex,� Howard lied, but trying to make himself believe it. �There�s nothing I can do about it.�
�I understand,� Venus replied. �I�ll try to call ya when I get the chance.� He nodded. �Wait a minute; does this mean we�re hooked up?�
�No,� Howard said. �Just friends.�
�Great,� Venus said, as they hugged. �I�ll see ya around.�
�Same here,� Howard said. �Later.�
�Hey, Sunnie,� Nickolas said and Sunshine looked at him.
�What?� Sunshine asked, as they stood in front of each other.
�I, um, just wanted�it was nice meeting you.�
�That it?� He grinned. �It was nice meeting you too.�

�I hope we see each other again.�
�We will.� She smiled and hugged him. �Have a great show.�
�Don�t be afraid to use that number. I won�t tell anyone it�s you.�
�I don�t talk on the phone much.�
�Can�t you make an exception?�
�I�ll think about it.�
�I guess I can live with that.�
�Good.� God she didn�t want to leave him go. Being in his arms made her feel so good. His embrace was so warm and soothing. And he smelled so good.
�Nick, lets go,� Brian yelled to him.
Sunshine bit her bottom lip, as Nickolas put his hand in her back pocket and then ended the hug. They looked at each other and smiled. �See ya around,� Nickolas said.
�Yeah,� Sunshine said.
�Don�t be afraid to use that number,� Nickolas said again and she watched him walk away.
Sunshine watched Nickolas get on the bus and stood beside Venus, as she asked, �Do you think we�ll ever see them again?�
�Yeah, because I�m so close,� Sunshine said watching the Boys get on the bus, as the other three girls joined them. �So close.�
�So close for what?� Venus asked confused, as the bus drove off and Sunshine walked away. �Why are you so close?�
�So close,� Sunshine replied. �So close.�
�For what?� Venus asked again and they went after her. �Sunshine, for what?�
�So close,� Sunshine repeated. �So, so, so close.� She smiled and went up to her room. She went into the room and sat on the bed. She put her hand in her back pocket and took out the piece of paper Nickolas stuck there. She laid back and read: Sweets, 21 years I waited and wished for an angel to be sent to me. I think my wish finally came true. Nicky. �Sweets; how cute.� She smiled and the door opened. She quickly put the paper back in her pocket, as the girls walked in.
�So close for what, Sunshine?� Venus asked again and Sunshine just smiled and went into the bathroom, leaving the girls clueless.
