�Do ya want some popcorn?� He laughed.

�Yeah; do ya?� He looked at her. �When I watch a movie I like having popcorn and soda with it. Do ya want some?�
�I guess so.�
�Alright; I�ll be right back.� They both got up. �I got it.� She started walking and tripped. �Whoa!� She fell into Nickolas and they both fell to the floor, with Jacqueline on top of him.
�You all right?� They looked at each other.
�Uh, yeah. Are you?�
�Yep.� They just looked at each other. �You gonna get the popcorn?�
�Yeah.�

�Mm-hmm.� They continued looking at each other. Jacqueline went to kiss him, but interrupted by a ringing phone. �Damn it.�
�Uh, that�s my cell.�
�Of course.� She slowly got up and helped Nickolas up. �I�ll go get the popcorn.�
�Ok.� She walked to the kitchen, as Nickolas got out his cell. Jacqueline stood at the kitchen doorway and listened to Nickolas. �I�m busy�I don�t care, Fallon.� Who was Fallon, Jacqueline thought. �It�s late so why are you calling? Because you miss me�that�s a damn lie if I heard one�no�you�re just checking up to see if I�m with some other girl�maybe I am�why do you care? No you don�t�you never cared and still don�t�don�t give me that shit�I�m hanging up�goodnight.�
�Who�s Fallon?� Jacqueline wanted to know. �His girlfriend?� She walked over to the cupboard and pondered at the thought. �He didn�t say anything about a girlfriend. He didn�t even give a hint about having a girlfriend.� She got the popcorn and stuck it in the microwave. �I wonder who Fallon is?�
�Fallon is my psychotic girlfriend,� Nickolas said and Jacqueline jumped and looked. �Well my psychotic ex-girlfriend.�

�She doesn�t take the hint when I say it�s over, ya know.� Jacqueline nodded.
�I wasn�t eavesdropping, I just heard her name and you sounded angry.�
�Yeah; she makes me angry.�
�Right.� His cell rang again and he looked at the number.
�Do you wanna answer this? It�s Fallon.�

�Go ahead.�
�Alright.� She took the phone and turned it on. �Hello? Nick Carter�s personal phone.�
�Who is this?� Fallon questioned.
�Who�s this?� Jacqueline questioned in return.
�Nick�s girlfriend.�
�Nick�s busy at the moment.�
�I just spoke to him.�
�Well he�s busy now. Busy as in, taking off his clothes so we can have hot passionate sex all night long and into the early morning hours of next month.�
�Bitch.� There was a click.
�Bitch.� Jacqueline turned off the phone and handed it to Nickolas. �I don�t think she�ll be calling for a couple days.�
�Good. Hopefully a lifetime.�
�Yeah.� They stood there a few moments and the microwave beeped. Jacqueline got it out and put it in a bowl. She went to walk out and Nickolas stopped her. �What?�
�Thanks a lot.� He kissed her cheek and then walked out.
�Uh, you�re welcome. No problem.� She sighed and then walked from the kitchen.

�Tonight was great,� Eva said, as she staggered to her front door with Alexander and the others behind her. �I had a blast.�
�You�re drunk,� Kristin said. �You�ll think differently in the morning.�
�Nah,� Eva said. �No I won�t.�
�Sure ya will,� Alexander said. �The alcohol will wear off and you�ll be a sober bitch again.�
�Thank you�uh�� Eva began thinking of his name.
�Alex,� the others said.
�I knew that,� Eva said. �Alex.� She smiled and Kevin unlocked the door and led her inside. �Do you guys want something to drink?�
�We had enough,� Brian said. �But thanks.�
�Ok,� Eva said. �Don�t say I didn�t offer.� She walked to the parlor and stopped when she saw Jacqueline and Nickolas on the sofa sleeping. �Awe, now how cute is that?�
�It�s cute,� Howard said looking at the others. �Maybe you should go to bed.�
�I ain�t even tired,� Eva said walking over to the sofa.
�Maybe you should leave those two sleep,� Kevin suggested.
�Jack don�t mind when I wake her up,� Eva said grabbing Jacqueline�s arm and pulling her off the sofa, along with Nickolas. They both jumped up and looked.
�What the hell?� Jacqueline wanted to know and saw Eva laughing. �You�re real funny, Eva.� She continued laughing. �Really, I mean it. Do I wake you up when you�re sleeping?�
�Like you care,� Eva said.
�I do,� Jacqueline said. �Just like you care.�
�She was drinking,� Kristin said and Jacqueline shook her head.
�Did you two have fun?� Eva asked looking at Jacqueline and Nickolas and they looked at her.
�We watched movies and went swimming,� Nickolas said.
�Skinny dipping?� Eva asked.
�No,� Jacqueline said.
�So no sex, huh?� Eva said.
�God, no,� Jacqueline said disgustedly.
�You mean you didn�t have you�re way with him like you want,� Eva wanted to know and Jacqueline just glared at her friend. Eva looked at Nickolas and smiled. �She wants you, Nick. She wants to have hot sex with you.�
�Eva!� Jacqueline yelled.
�What?� Eva asked. �It�s the truth. Ya told me that yourself earlier.�
�And not for you to tell anyone,� Jacqueline said and ran out of the room.
�Um, maybe we should go,� Leighanne suggested.
�Good idea,� Howard said.
�You don�t have to leave,� Eva said. �Jackie will feel better in a couple minutes.�
�I�m sure she will,� Kevin began, �but it�s late and we got rehearsal in the morning.�
�You guys can spend the night in the guest rooms,� Eva suggested.
�We�ll be fine at our place,� Alexander said.
�You guys are no fun,� Eva said pouting.
�We�ll take a rain check though,� Brian said. �You just get some rest.�
�Take some aspirin and go to bed,� Kevin said. �We�ll see ya in the morning.�
�Oh alright,� Eva said, as they walked to the door. �Nick, aren�t you going to give your girlfriend a kiss goodnight?�
�I have no girlfriend, Eva,� Nickolas said.
�Sure ya do,� Eva said. �Jack.� She smiled and Nickolas just looked at her.
�Goodnight, Eva,� Kristin and Leighanne said.
�Night,� Eva said, as they walked out the door. Eva closed the door and walked back to the parlor. �Oh, Jackie, you can come out now, Nicky�s gone.� She waited for her friend, but it was silent. She walked upstairs and to Jacqueline�s room. She knocked on the door, but got no answer. �Jackie? Are you in there?�
�Go away, Eva,� Jacqueline said.
�Are you crying?�
�Leave me alone. I have nothing to say to you.�
�I don�t see what your problem is, all I did was tell Nick how ya felt about him. He had a right to know.�
�When I felt like telling him.�
�Will you open the door?�
�No.�
�Please?�
�I�m sleeping.�
�Quit being stubborn and open the door.� Jacqueline didn�t say anything. �Fine be that way.� Eva walked away and went to her own room.
