�Hey, Jackie,� Alexander said and she just walked away. �Is she alright?�
�I don�t know,� Eva said. �She�s been ignoring me all morning and it�s really none of your business of what�s wrong with her.�
�Sorry,� Alexander said. �I was just wondering.�
�Don�t wonder too hard ok,� Eva said walking away.
�I guess Jackie is still pretty angry about last night,� Alexander said.
�I would be too,� Kristin said. �If I confided in my best friend and she spilled my secret I�d be angry too.�
�Same here,� Leighanne said. �But it shouldn�t be the thing that ends a friendship like theirs.�
�Nope,� Kevin said, as they heard yelling and looked to see Jacqueline yelling at Eva. They watched for a moment then Jacqueline walked away.
�Nicky, maybe you should go talk to her,� Howard suggested.
�Huh?� Nickolas said looking at them strangely.
�I highly doubt she�s going to want to talk to him,� Brian said. �After last night my guess is she�ll try to stay as far away from him as possible.�
�But they�re dance partners, Rok,� Alexander said. �So she can�t.� He smiled.
�Just go talk to her, Nicky,� Howard said. �Let her know it�s not going to change anything between you two.�
�Good, because there ain�t nothing between us,� Nickolas said shaking his head.
�Of course there�s not,� Alexander said sarcastically. �It was just an accident that you two feel asleep on the sofa in each other�s arms last night, right?�
�Yeah,� Nickolas said. �I ain�t the one after a girl that doesn�t want me.� Alexander looked at him.
�Eva wants me,� Alexander said. �She just doesn�t know it yet.� The others just shook their heads at him. �I�ll get her to know it though. And when she does she�ll be the happiest woman this side of the globe.� He smiled.
�You�re nuts,� Brian said.
�You�re just jealous,� Alexander said.
�I got Leighanne so why would I?� Brian wanted to know. �I�m happy.�
�You better be,� Leighanne said.
�Eva�s got a certain spark about her,� Alexander said. �And it helps that she looks like that Latin star Shakira.� He grinned.
�Beauty�s only skin deep, Alex,� Kevin said.
�I know that,� Alexander said.
�Then act it,� Kevin said.
�Yeah, yeah,� Alexander said. They heard Jacqueline yell and looked. They watched her walk away and Eva go after her.
�I hope they�ll be alright,� Leighanne said.
�Sure they will, Baby,� Brian said. �Why would they let one little mistake ruin their friendship?�
�I guess you�re right,� Leighanne said.
�I am,� Brian said. �Look at all the mistakes we make and it don�t ruin our friendship. Their friendship is strong and they�ll work it out.� They all nodded.
�If Eva ever needs a shoulder to cry on I am here for her,� Alexander said.
�I think you�ll be the last person she runs to, Bone,� Howard said. �From the impression I get she hates you.�
�Of course she doesn�t and you guys will see that,� Alexander said.
�I�ll pray for ya,� Brian said walking away with Leighanne.
�We all will,� Kevin said, as him, Kristin and Nickolas walked away also.
�I�ll get her to warm up to me,� Alexander said to Howard. �Just wait and see.�
�I wish ya luck, buddy,� Howard said. �Because you�re going to need it.�

�Alex, if ya really want her, then maybe you should start by being her friend. Stop with trying to get her into bed and start with being sincere and considerate of her feelings. She might appreciate you if you don�t hit on her. Not all women are alike ya know.� Alexander looked at him. �Eva seems kind of secretive, unlike Jackie, and you should earn her trust before thinking about having a possible relationship with her. If you actually pay attention to Eva and look at her facial expressions instead of her body you will see that she is hiding something. It�s none of my business, but if you want to know what it is then be her friend and earn her trust. �
�You can tell that by just looking at someone?�
�Not everyone, but most. I could tell it with Eva right away. She�s got a secret and if she doesn�t share it it�s going to eat away at her and take over her life. If you want it to be you then grow up and be a real man.� Howard gave a little grin and then walked away. Alexander looked at Eva, as she went out the door after Jacqueline.

�Jack will you hang on a second,� Eva pleaded stopping her friend from going out the door. Jacqueline stopped walking, but didn�t look at her. �I want to know what�s going on.�
�You know what�s going on,� Jacqueline snapped and turning to look at her. �And don�t stand there and act like you don�t because you do.�
�No I don�t know what�s going on. So tell me.�
�Why do you have to act stupid all the time?�
�What�s wrong?�
�You know what the hell is wrong with me, Eva, so don�t stand there and ask me what it is. You know damn well why I am pissed at you.�
�Ok you�re pissed at me, but why?�
�Ugh!� Jacqueline left out a disgusted sigh and turned to walk out.
�Why don�t you just tell me?� Jacqueline shook her head and walked out of the building. �Jack!� Eva went out after her. �Please talk to me.�
�I can�t believe you�re just going to stand there and act like you didn�t do anything to me last night. You humiliated me last night by telling Nick I wanted to sleep with him. And worst of all it was in front of all his friends.� Eva looked at her shocked. �I confided in you with my secret and you have to tell everyone. I hate you.�
�Don�t say that. I�m sorry, but I don�t remember saying anything about that.�
�Save it, Martin. I don�t want to hear your damn excuses about last night. I don�t want to hear that you were drunk or whatever. You�re my best friend and you humiliated me. I can humiliate you just as easily and go in there and tell everyone what happened back in Michigan.�
�Don�t you dare.�
�I�m not going to. Ya know why? Because are friendship is very important to me. I can�t just go and humiliate you in front of everyone like you humiliated me. I can�t do that. I just can�t. I respect my friends� secrets and I don�t go around telling anyone.�
�I�m really sorry.�
�Yeah that�s what you say.�
�It�s the truth.� Jacqueline shook her head. �I swear to you, Jack. I would never do anything to deliberately hurt you or ruin our friendship. You mean so much to me.�
�But you humiliated me last night, Ev. I just can�t forgive you and act like nothing happened, because something did happen.�
�Maybe so, but I don�t remember and you can�t hold that against me. I am so sorry for whatever I did to hurt you.�
�You don�t hurt friends like the way you hurt me. I told you something in confidence and you broke that confidence.� Eva sighed. �I would never do that to you.�
�I know you wouldn�t and I�m sorry that I did that to you.� Jacqueline sighed. �What can I do to make it up to you? I�ll do anything you want me to, to make it up to you. What is it you want me to do? You can suggest anything.� Jacqueline just looked at her. �Anything at all.�
�Anything?�
�Yes anything.� Jacqueline nodded. �Just name it and I�ll do it.�
�Ok.�
�I mean anything, no matter what it is.�
�Ok. If you want to do something to make it up to me for humiliating me last night, then I got something I want you to do.�
�Ok, what is it?�
�Stop obsessing over Michael and get over him.� Eva looked at her surprised. �It�s time to move on, Ev.�
�I just can�t forget him, Jackie.�
�Yes you can and you can start right now. There is a great guy in that studio that wants to show you how a real relationship is. Just give him a chance. It doesn�t mean ya got to go out with him right away, but just get to know him. Ya might surprise yourself and actually like him.�
�I don�t know.�
�You said you�d do anything to make it up to me and this is anything.� Eva just looked at her and sighed. �Fine. If ya don�t want to make it up to me then forget it. Forget me forgiving you and forget our friendship.� She started walking away.
�Jacqueline, wait up.� Eva ran after her and stopped her at her car. She grabbed her arm and Jacqueline looked at her. �Ok I�ll try it just for you, because I don�t want to lose our friendship. It means so much to me.�
�It means a lot to me also, Eva, and I don�t want to lose it either.�
�Then I�ll do it. I�ll forget about Michael and move on like you want me to. It might not be easy, but I�ll do it.�
�Ok. Thank you.� They hugged. �You�re my best friend, Eva, and I love ya so much.�
�I love ya too, Jacqueline. Your friendship means so much to me.� They looked at each other.
�Hey, girls,� Nickolas interrupted and they looked. �We�re ready to start practice.�
�Um, we�ll be right in,� Jacqueline said and Nickolas smiled then walked back inside.
�Are we ok?� Eva asked. �Are we still friends?� Jacqueline looked at her.
�Yes of course,� Jacqueline said hugging her again. �We�re still friends.�
�Good.�
�Yeah.�
