| Newfoundland isn't very well known for it's sky scraping mountains, and tens of ski hills suitable for an exprienced skier to rip up the powder that Mother Nature has left the night before. However, we do have one. The famous Marble Mountain, of which traveling skiers come from all over the world to make the beautiful blanket of white, a ripple of cuts made by two long |

| We have evolved skis to the point where, while we are skiing, friction has almost no effect. Skiing is an important part of many people's lives. Skis help us do things a lot better than we can do without them. The only problem I can find with skis is that some people spend all their time thinking about skiing instead of doing things like homework. Skiing is a great way to get out and around and I hope we continue to advance in our skiing equipment and skiing techniques. |
