Copyright
Publication Right
To publish a manuscript, the Journal of Information and Knowledge Management (JIKM) must ensure that it has obtained all the necessary rights. In the majority of cases the standard JIKM Transfer of Copyright agreement completed by the corresponding author will continue to be sufficient. If, however, one or more authors are employed by a government agency or the authors choose an Open Access publication option a separate 'license to publish' agreement may also/instead be required. To help manage this process, the JIKM has developed an online, interactive service that guides the completion of the agreement(s) appropriate for any given manuscript. Authors will be directed, via email, to this service after their submission has first been examined by an editor. Authors should be aware that accepted manuscripts will not be prepared for publication (copyedited or formatted) until JIKM is in receipt of all the agreement(s) associated with them.
