Welcome to Tiger Snail

Eggs____

Don't worry. I was ever so shocked when I saw that my snail had laid eggs. I didn't know what to do with them!

What to do

Well this really depends if you want to keep the eggs or not. If you don't want them then you'll have to flush them down the toilet or such, because they're not class as living creatures yet so it isn't cruel.

But if you DO want to keep the snails heres what you do: 1. get another tank and put in the same things suck as bark, planpot ect..
2. form a small hole/pit in the bark and carefully place the eggs in it
3. wait for them to hatch! make sure you keep the bark moist even if they havn't hatched yet.

WHAT THE EGGS LOOK LIKE

The eggs Are a murky, pale, yellow colour. Don't expect the eggs to be soft squishy slimy things because they are hard and cold

LOOKING AFTER BABY SNAILS

when they hatch it's best not to handle them when young. Their shells are very fragile and slippery. The snails shall be a see-through white colour while their shells will be round, with shades of browns.

FEEDING

They need cuttlefish bone expecially when they are young babies! Their shells need to grow healthy and strong so it is quite important! Lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, bananas and things like that are ideal.

SNAILS FOR SALE!

If you wish not to keep the snails you can sell them or give them to your local reptile specialist shop.
The baby snails have to be larger than the width of a 5 pence otherwise they arn't ready for sale
