You are a May Sue that will not accept your true nature, instead claiming that you are a part of Middle-earth and that Tolkien accidentally left you out when writing the books. Sometimes these claims are believable in the beginning, especially when you go so far as to adopt plain features and a simple background. It might even take several chapters for you to work your way into the story. But by the end, the Mary Sue within will be revealed. Every possible plot point will find its way into your quiet life. Your hair will suddenly boast many shades and varieties of "natural" highlights. The men around you will find themselves irresistibly attracted to your meek and demure nature. Your humble origins as a peasant girl in Bree will expand to include the fact that you were somehow raised in Gondolin, educated by sages living beside Cuiviénen, and trained as a unicorn rider in Harad. Oh yes, we see it now. You certainly belong in Middle-earth. Our apologies for mistaking you as an interloper. Please, by all means, continue.
