remains a SmackDown! talent after Lottery Draft |
This past Monday night on WWE RAW
in Detroit, Michigan, Vince McMahon held the first ever WWE
Lottery Draft as six WWE Superstars from the RAW Brand
and six WWE superstars from the SmackDown! Brand switched
rosters. Rey was live in Detroit for the Draft and took part
in the major brawl that happened at the end of the show.
Luckily for SmackDown! fans, they will still get to see their
favorite masked superstar every Thursday night at 8:00 PM on UPN.
Here are the roster changes that took place:
To SmackDown!:
1) Rene Dupree
2) Mark Jindrak
3) Triple H
4) Rob Van Dam
5) Theodore R. Long
6) Spike Dudley
To RAW:
1) Shelton Benjamin
2) Nidia
3) Rhyno
4) Tajiri
5) Edge (He made his return and Speared his new boss)
6) Paul E. Heyman (After he was drafted, he told Eric Bishoff off
and quit!)
Note: There were also two announcements concerning the
Lottery Draft that took place on Monday. The first was that
after the Lottery Draft had taken place, the two G.M.'s would have
until midnight on Monday night to make any trades they deemed
necessary.
The second announcement was made by Vince McMahon on WWE.com
after Paul Heyman quit. McMahon stated that due to the
fact that Heyman quit, a new G.M. would be named on this
week's SmackDown! and this new G.M. would announce any trades
that took place. He also extended the trading deadline until
Tuesday night at 9:00 PM.
