Mitch Pileggi was born April 5, 1952, in Portland, Oregon. His family moved around a lot when he was younger. His father worked mostly in Turkey for the Defense Department, and after attending high school there and college in Germany, Mitch decided to work for the same company as his father. Not liking that job, he moved to Austin, Texas, and decided to try acting. He has performed in such production as "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Lone Star," and "Bent." After Mitch landed a few small parts on television, he made his way to Los Angeles. His film credits include "Gun Shy," "Takedown," "Basic Instinct," "Vampire in Brooklyn," "Guilty as Charged," and "Shocker." On TV, he had a recurring role on "Dallas," and has made guest-star appearances on such shows as "ER," "That 70's Show," "Models Inc.," "Roc," "China Beach," "Hooperman," and "Get a Life." He has also appeared in the television movies "Absolute Stranger," "Trapped," "Knightrider 2000," and "Marabunta." Mitch is married to actress Arlene Pileggi, and has a 3 year old daughter named Sawyer.
