Your registration for, and use of, the Discussion Forum is subject to these terms and conditions. By registering for, and using, the Discussion Forum, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.

The Discussion Forum is intended to be a place for respectful discussion of environmental issues. You should not post any message that:

• is abusive, harassing, threatening, or defamatory of any person or group;
• contains vulgar, obscene, indecent or offensive material;
• infringes the privacy or intellectual property rights of others;
• violates any applicable law;
• contains advertising or is commercial in nature; or
• interferes with the purpose, smooth functioning and enjoyment by others of the Discussion Forum, including "spamming", "flooding" and other inappropriate internet conduct.

Violations of the terms and conditions may result in specific messages not being posted or being removed, or in your deregistration from the Discussion Forum.

Moderation

The Discussion Forum is moderated by Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance staff. All messages are reviewed before being posted to the Discussion Forum. The Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance will not post messages that violate these terms and conditions, and reserves the right to remove or refuse to publish information for whatever reason. The Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance will not edit messages; if a message contains any inappropriate material, it will not be posted.

The authors of messages that are rejected or removed will be notified of the fact. The Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance will retain a copy of all messages, whether posted or not.

Off-topic messages may be moved to appropriate discussion topics or rejected, at the Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance's discretion.

Indemnity and Release

You agree to indemnify the Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance and its officers, employees and agents against any injury, costs, expenses or damages (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Discussion Forum. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to waive and release the Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance from any and all claims arising out of or in connection with your use of the Discussion Forum.

By posting messages to the Discussion Forum, you grant the Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance a non-exclusive and royalty free license to use, reproduce, modify and adapt such material, in whole or in part, in any form and for any purpose.

Complaints

If you feel a post is offensive or breaches these Terms & Conditions, please report the post to the Lake Macquarie Coastal and Wetlands Alliance website co-ordinator.
