Our Family Traditions

We gather today to share our mirth,
In celebration of Christs Holy birth.
We came here today to reminisce,
Years gone past and those we miss.
To enjoy each other and appreciate,
The special times we congregate.
Some we don't see for quite awhile,
Or see the many precious smiles.
One day at a time we all must live,
I thank God for each day he gives.
One more year may not be for some,

But we hope that day will never come.
I'll treasure this day I spend with you,
For Christmas of two thousand and two.
When we bow our heads now to pray,
Remember why there is Christmas day.
We came today to celebrate our Lord,
When Jesus Christ, our Saviour was born.
This special day I will always remember,
A Christmas gathering in late December,
So before you leave and say goodbye,
You may feel a tear come to your eye.
Each year we welcome new additions,
To carry on our family traditions.
