This porcelain angel I give to you, A graven image when it was new. It isn't much, but all I could spare, I want you to know how much I care.
It didn't cost me very much, But it is filled with His loving touch. For I held this angel close to my chest, And asked the Lord to do His best.
To fill it with love and everything good, He then filled my soul, here where I stood. With tenderness, love and all of His grace, I could feel his spirit upon my face.
So this porcelain angel, I asked him to bless, And take all your cares, and all your distress. To keep you from harm and give you His love, To keep you close to His angels above.
This porcelain angel, I give to you. To keep you from sadness, and being too blue. A graven image this used to be, But now is filled with ecstasy.
So a graven image is no more, Inside this angel His love is stored.
