My Brothers Love
I'm so thankful to God above, Because he gave me brothers to love. For all of them are so very dear, It means so much to have them near. And all the funny jokes they've played, I'll treasure til my dying day. They've loved my children, as their own, And helped me teach them right from wrong. And when I'm all alone and blue, A call from them helps me through. Sometimes they've brought a special gift, To ease my mind, my heart to lift. All the dreams they've shared with me, And the bad times that we've all seen. I know they must have felt some shame, For all the mistakes I have made. They stayed at my side all along, And never told me I was wrong. They warn me when a storm is near, To say, you can come over here. And when they're far away from home, I sit and wait by my phone. And then just to ease my mind, They call and say, "Sis, I'm fine". And when I lose one you will see, They're all there to comfort me. So again, I thank the Lord above, For giving me, my brothers love!
