The Rock I Lean On
You are the rock on which I lean, Your special love we all have seen.
To be the sister of someone so dear, Brings to my eyes many happy tears.
Through the years we grew so close, I treasure your love as a yellow rose.
The memories together that we share, Has shown to me how much you care.
Sometimes we would just go for a ride, To see old homes over the countryside.
You've never judged me for my deeds, And your always here when I'm in need.
We rode and talked of childhood days, Dreams we wished to come our way.
We grew so close through tears we shed, As our brother died in a hospital bed.
My heart is filled with God's Holy grace, Each and everytime I see your face.
Your broad shoulders you always give, When my tears pour like a seive.
You've held my secrets with lock and key, You're always there to comfort me.
To the rock I lean on I want to say, I love you, Larry, Happy Birthday.
