So many tears today I`ve cried,
My heart is broken deep inside.
Day after day, week after week,
Blessings from God for you I seek.
I`ll see you tomorrow in your cell,
Behind the bars of the County Motel.
So much strength I must reserve,
Because so much, son, you deserve.
You need us all to be so strong,
So I pray to God it won`t be long.
I stare at your picture every day,
Then to my knees again to pray.
I ask the Lord to hold you tight,
To always keep you in his sight.
With so much love in your heart,
I pray he won`t keep us apart.
Don`t let my tears hurt you inside,
These tears of sorrow that I've cried.
The Bible Scripture I just read,
Says everything that should be said.
So I send this Scripture to my little boy
" They that sow in tears shall reap in joy "
