I've wanted to write something good to say,
To help get us all through yet another day.
I turned on the TV to check out the news,
But everything there just gave me the blues.
Israel and Palestine are still hot in a war.
The people there can't even go out their door.
Someone's getting blown up there everyday.
Even in the churches where they go to pray.
Don't they know that murder is a great sin?
And God will punish them all in the end.
There's suicide bombers there every day.
But they are a martyr the others will say.
I don't see an end to this close in sight.
Sometimes I think they just like to fight.
They're only hurting their own, don't they see?
So that none of their land will ever be free.
I've been watching this close for the last year.
And it's only brought both sides lots of tears.
I pray that God will fill the hearts on both sides
So no more of their people will have to die.
It's a family feud but on a much larger scale.
But if they can't find peace they'll all go to Hell.
And I just can't see where we have the right,
To get in the middle of their countrys fight.
In Gods name don't they understand,
They're only blowing up all their own land?
