We are all here with you today,
To share your Golden Anniversary day.
So I want to thank our Lord above,
For blessings He sent, to embrace your love.
As this bridegroom rejoiced with his bride,
To share Gods love from deep inside.
Your wedding vows you've kept so long,
Enhanced your life and kept you strong.
You've now been married for fifty years,
Shared so much laughter and many tears.
You've weathered so many storms indeed,
And raised nine children for you to feed.
I know Gods blessings you've always had,
Through all the good times and the bad.
He stretched your pay which was never enough,
To help you through times that were so rough.
No crystal chandeliers in your home we'll find,
Nor a Rolls Royce parked in your drive.
But all these things you've never missed,
Through all your years of wedded bliss.
Now we ask our Lord to give
You another fifty years together to live.
Now I ask for everyone here to join with me,
To wish you both HAPPY GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY!!
