I never once thought that poetry I'd write,
But now I've found new friends overnight.
I now know the pleasures of poetry to read,
It gives all my stress a way to relieve.
I've enjoyed my life more in these weeks.
A word of encouragement is all that we need.
I thought I could do without any friends,
But I have found I need them to mend.
God has a purpose for us all I have found,
So now my life I know has rebound.
The pain of others, now I have learned,
It's not only me with lots of discern.
Not only have I found that others care.
I've found that there's a whole new world out there.
So to have my life fulfilled this way,
Will carry me on til the end of my days.
For I have never felt so good in my life,
As when I read all my feed back online.
Cathy, I thank you, for the work that you've done,
Building this website, we've had so much fun.
And to the new friend I've met these few days,
Here is something I need to say,
Lisa, I thank you, for all your kind words,
For I really needed to share my hurt.
So to God above, I thank you so much,
For now I know, my life, you have touched.
