The Best Intentions

It is always easy to condemn
A situation someone else is in
I only pray that we will learn
With peoples lives to discern
Let them live life as they can
Ask God to lend a helping hand

When in others lives we intrude
They might respond very crude
Whether it's our family or a friend
We might cause disaster in the end
When we step in with our intrusion
Their life could be in total confusion
Orders for some are hard to take
Though it never hurts to suggest
Give love and comfort when you can
On our own feet we must stand

Experiences in life teaches us this
For no persons life is total bliss
In our mistakes we're alone to blame
Though fuel may be added to the flame
Then for years there might be regrets
Sometimes others will not forget
If in anger mean words are spout
Our dirty laundry is spread about
Some forever refuse to budge
Forever they will hold a grudge

We should look at our life we live
God gives forgiveness if we forgive
I thought to you I should mention
Strife may come of the best of intentions
