I want to thank God, up above,
For giving me nieces and nephews to love
I've loved you all from your head to your toes,
And since you were born I've always felt so close.
There are so many of you today,
And you're all so dear in your special way.
The hugs and kisses I've gotten through the years,
Just thinking back makes my eyes fill with tears.
Sometimes you bring me something special to eat,
When you know that to me it's a special treat.
Sometimes even from church you stay home,
So I won't spend my day all alone.
Then somedays you come by just to remiss,
And when you leave there's always a kiss.
When I feel so all alone and blue,
I know I can always discuss it with you.
You know I think this is Gods special way,
To send us angels to have everyday.
So when I've gone to heaven above,
Remember,
I've always treasured your love!
