Soorya Namaskar Mantras

Watch video demo

For thousands of years, human beings have been worshipping the Sun. For the rishis of the Vedic era in Bhaarat, the sun was worshipped in all its splendor as Soorya. Soorya Namaskar, which literally means salutations to the Sun, is a combination of a few Yogasana postures. This is a well balanced set of movements that will stretch all the muscles in the body and keep the body and mind healthy. There are 13 mantras (listen to audio) which are different names of the Sun God. We should chant a mantra before each Soorya Namaskar.

Visit the following link: Soorya Namaskar Shloks for the starting (before the first mantra) and ending (after the last mantra) shloks.
