Hare Rama Hare Krishna

Everyone chooses something within a category, then when a particular item is called out, all those who chose that item run back and forth 4 times – the last to complete “Hare Rama Hare Krishna” becomes the one to call out.

One person tries to get someone else out by rapidly calling out the 4 names and adopting their symbolic postures

Ladder

Form 2 teams, both sit facing each other with legs joined forming a ladder.  Starting from one end, each “rung” of the ladder runs up the ladder and returns, then the next rung goes, etc

Ghar Bachao

Everyone in a circle, one in the middle.  Swap places before one in middle takes their place.

One-legged Kabbadi

One person hops on one leg saying “kabbadi” repeatedly and touch as many people as possible (all constrained within a circle).

Oii! (Ouch!)

All form a line and march towards lone person, starting from one end, each person touches next person’s shoulder in turn, until last person at the other end, who shouts Oii!  Everyone runs back to the original line, lone person tries to catch them.

Kramaank Badal (Change numbers)

One in center, shikshak calls a number – the pair belonging to that number have to exchange places before center person takes their place.

Dakshina (Right) / Vama (Left) / Ardha (About)
Vruta (Turn) – one team tries to catch the other team’s mistakes in following commands.

Everyone stands in a circle and jumps forward (“Neer”), backwards (“Teer”) or remains still (“Peer”) – any wrong move and you’re out!
