Canadian Poets Laureate
Home Contributors Archive Resources Guidelines
This page holds a sparse listing of Canadian Poets Laureate. I'd like to see this increase, but recognize that the idea of a Poet Laureate is still a fairly new thing in this county and not many provinces or municipalities have appointed one yet. If you know of one I don't have listed here, please let me know and include a link to somewhere that I can verify the information. For reference, I'm looking for Poets Laureate appointed by a government body - Federal, Provincial or Municipal - not contest winners or corporate sponsored events or anything along those lines. Duly appointed Poets Laureate only please.
